There was an odor in the place, I had to buy candles to get rid of the odor. Everything else was GREAT.

Lots of problems
We checked in after a long drive and found no clean linens for the pull out bed. I notified the management team and got “sorry for the inconvenience” message. Not having a bed to sleep in as advertised is more than an inconvenience. I messaged several times and evidently no one was able to contact the local team. No bedding arrived until the next day. Also, the door to the bedroom was broken and couldn’t be shut. I called on that and a day later, someone came to look at it. They said it couldn’t be fixed until someone else was available to help. It was never fixed while I was there. There were dishes left in the dishwasher When we arrived and the entrance to the building”s door was broken and you had to walk around the block to get in. All in all, while Portland is great , the accommodations were not acceptable and not what I paid for.

Fantastic service. Quite property. Street car is a short walk. Good neighborhood. Comfy. Grocery very close. Washer and dryer in the unit was a nice plus for my extended stay. I was even able to iron shirts! I'm old. These things get me excited.

Not bad at all
I had a great stay, I was able to get some work done as planned. The unit seems bigger in the pictures but it’s still comfortable. When I booked it I wanted parking but I ended up needing to park on the street.

Pretty Ok
This was a really functional space, decent accommodations. Minor things we noted: The sheets were absolutely not clean, there was a lot of other people's hair in the sheets, on the pillows etc. Including what looked like pubic hair. That being said, there is a washer and dryer in the suite and soap to use in the washer. So, for a feels- like-home experience, we started our stay by doing laundry. A not so minor glitch: When we arrived the code for the front door would not let us in and we had to wait for another resident to go in to sneak behind them and then locate our keys. The said key was really sticky in the lock and it took a bit of time and gentle jiggle to get into and out of the suite. Another feels-like-home moment: We got a notice on our door that we needed to remove window screens because window washing was going to be happening and failure to do so would mean management would be entering the property to remove screens. So, a bit of handyman duties were required as well. There is a very lonely, loud kitty who lives next door. My only complaint there is that there was no way to get to the poor creature and give it some needed pets to soothe the wailing. But honestly, the place is cute and totally served the needed purpose. Besides the sheets, the place was spotless and well equipped, other residents were friendly and there are many cute companion animals in the building. Neighborly feel. We'd totally book again. It felt like stopping at a friend's place. Fun.

Wanted to like it, but…..
I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately there was a few things that really frustrated me. 1, the front door was a disaster. It was super loud when people were going by or when housekeeping was vacuuming in the hallway. I wondered about that and I found out when I got up to use the restroom when the lights were out that the door wasn’t sealed. There was light all the way around it. How could you guys not catch that? Unacceptable when you live in that type of building. 2, that couch was terrible. It was already broken down on one side. 3, the towels were stained from a previous user! What’s up with that? And lastly, I can understand wanting to use a less expensive toilet paper. But, I’ve used better toilet paper in a gas station loo! Don’t skimp on the little things and don’t skimp on the big things(door, couch) when you’re making good $$ off people. Location was great though! And the coffee shop in the lobby was just lovely.

Great location
We stayed here over Thanksgiving and it was super convenient to the places we needed to get to. There was a supermarket just a stone’s throw away and lots of places to eat out. The kitchen was well equipped. The reason for the 3star rating for communication was that there was no reply to our enquiry about a. Coffee maker - I made that on the VRBO page but didn’t get a response. Apartment was comfortable but the AC was rather noisy

Great location but spotty wi-fi
Apartment was clean and location was perfect. However, we had reserved this apartment with the intention of working from it for a few days but the wi-fi appears to be shared with a few other apartments perhaps? The signal was spotty and would drop all day long during the day and we had to tether to phone hotspots to get past the spottiness. Some minor issues with the fan unable to work independently of the light in the bedroom and the washer refusing to run for a bit but we were able to get around those as well. Overall, I'd consider staying here again for a weekend or short vacation (although probably not to work out of) again.

Great condo, location and value - and clean!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful little condo in Slabtown/Nob Hill/whatever you want to call this great neighborhood in NW Portland! It was so much more affordable than any hotel in the area & much more enjoyable as we felt like we were really living in Portland, not just visiting in a hotel like tourists. The condo was exceptionally clean & ready for our stay. Everything you need is provided from a warm throw blanket on for the couch to coffee mugs & wine glasses. If we wanted to go across the street to the New Seasons market (like a smaller Whole Foods) & get a salmon fillet, we could have cooked it up with the wide variety of pans & cooking utensils provided. The bed was very comfortable & cozy even though the pillows sunk & flattened when you slept on them - still not too big of a deal. And the unit had a nice TV and cable! We only had two minor issues that were resolved. The washing machine in the condo would not turn on despite our many attempts. The washer/dryer combo looks new & clean but the washer was on the fritz. We called the Vacasa phone line provided for help & they were very nice and accommodating. They contacted the Vacasa reps in Portland who stopped by when we were out to fix the machine. When we came back, our clothes had run through the wash cycle. Then when we tried to wash another load that evening, it wouldn’t turn on again. We called again & they sent out another representative who had difficulty turning it on, too. She provided us with extra clean towels from the condo building & left after spending some time trying to turn it on. Eventually we got it to turn on that night after doing a combo of door shutting & button pushing but couldn’t turn it on after that load. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience but nothing too bad. The other issue was some loud neighbors on the second night (some rude, loud partiers who I think were vacation renting, too). We could hear the bass of their music through the walls & the lyrics in the hallway. We called the Vacasa phone line twice & they contacted onsite building management who must have told the girls to quiet eventually. Overall, this was a very clean & very cozy place to call a temporary home during our stay. The location and building is excellent. With a coffee shop downstairs, the market across the street, great restaurants/shops within minutes walking distance, & street car/bus within a minutes walk, we didn’t have to rent a car and enjoyed the experience.
