Summary:
Enjoy staying in the upper floor of the historic Houghton House c.1888. Explore Portland’s East End just steps away from Washington St destinations like Oxbow, Duckfat Frites Shack, The Shop Oyster, Root Wild Kombucha, Terlingua, Maine Craft Distillery, and much more!

There is a large grassy park across the street with city views and the North St location is also 10 minute walk to the Old Port.

The Space:
This apartment allows for maximum sleeping flexibility with the option for 5 beds and perfect for groups traveling together. There are two regular bedrooms, each with queen beds. The living room features two Scandinavian Luonto sleeper sofas. Each sofa can be used as a queen bed. Hidden off of the living room are the "Crew Quarters". An extra hideaway space with a full day bed and motorized black out shade perfect for children or extra friends wanting their own space.

The large living room and antique dining table allow for plenty of space to gather and enjoy meals or relax.

The Neighborhood:
This historic home is located in the laid-back East End, also known as Munjoy Hill, is popular for walks and relaxation along the grassy Eastern Promenade, with views over Casco Bay.

This property is located near Fort Sumner Park, offering a beautiful sunset view of Portland. Just steps from restaurants and bars around Washington Avenue.

The Old Port is about 10 minute walk.
