Listed Tuscan Villa with private pool, solarium, A/C, WI-FI and great ocean view

This charming newly refurbished XVIII century Villa faces the spectacular gulf of Porto Azzurro, with its crystal blue waters. Since mid-summer 2021 a new fabolous private pool with beach area and solarium is available for Villa Bacci guests. The pool is located 60mts from the Villa and gets sun all day long. It is fully fenced for safety reason and to give privacy to the users and it is for exclusive use of Villa Bacci guests. The swimming pool is perfectly integrated in the area and is characterized by nice stone walls to match the XVII century ones and by marble slabs in the solarum, bought from the owner in an exclusive cave in Puglia (south of Italy). Pool facilities (sun loungers, sun umbrellas, teak chairs and table) are located in the area to guarantee extreme comfort to the guests. A shaded gazebo built with peeled chestnut poles has been built in the pool garden for relaxing moments and to enjoy drinks or food during the day.
The 350sqm Villa hosts 14 people in seven fully air conditioned double bed rooms, finely furnished with antiques. The Property, surrounded by olive, lemon, secular pine trees and palms, has a big flowered garden and a private coppice with all the facilities to enjoy the outdoor life. The Villa, which is a Tuscan Architectural Heritage, is characterized by original terracotta floors, terracotta vaults, a spectacular elliptical stone staircase and it is furnished with antiques. The garden has a large ‘800 iron archway that leads to the private vineyard and to the shaded parking area.
From the privileged location it is possible to enjoy unique breath-taking views,while drinking an aperitivo with local wine from the Villa’s vineyard.
A second home for enjoying both the country and seaside of Tuscany, exploring the magnificent beauty of Elba and relaxing in absolute privacy with family and friends. Since January 2015 Free unlimited WI-FI is available at Villa Bacci.
It is the perfect location to enjoy a nice holiday with family and friend in a isolated position far from the crowd.
Since 2020 we increased the cleaning standard to ensure a safe environment (i.e. use of sanitizing products for floors and use of industrially sanitized mattress and pillows covers).
The house has been mentioned by a local turistic web site as the most beautiful in the Porto Azzurro area and one of the most beautiful in the entire island.

Rental Conditions
- Minimum stay is one week with check in and check out on Saturdays
- Sorry, but we do not rent to group of young people (minimum age 28 years)
- Cleaning cost is 180€ to be paid at the check in to the house manager
- Electricity costs are based on real consumption and are charged 0,5€ for KW
- Bed sheets and towels can be brought by guests or rented (14€/person/week for the single set and 24€/week for the double set)
- If you wish to bring your pet, please ask the owner

"If you are looking for a magical, historic Italian villa for a family vacation than stop searching and be confident that you will love Villa Bacci on Elba Island. You are perched on a mountain top overlooking the sea, olive trees and a winery. The Villa itself is a destination you want to savor. Spacious, refined interior rooms and bedrooms. The bathrooms are large, beautifully tiled and every room has a view to be captivated by. Even with a large group it never feels crowded because there are so many places to spread out inside and outside. Pergolas with wisteria for a game of cards in the shade. Morning coffee taking in the breathtaking view below. Every corner offers a great place to gather or find a space to enjoy the scenery in peace. Then there is the spectacular pool area with the same view of the sea! It is accessed by taking a short walk along a stone lined path shaded by ancient trees behind the house that opens up to a pool area that is out of this world spectacularly beautiful! I love how it has a safety lock for children, shade with another pergola, lounge chairs and umbrellas and a view that feels like you have been transported in time.

The house has everything you would need to prepare meals and have family dinners together in the gorgeous dining room that also has a view. Only everyone in our group wanted to eat outside on the patio every night.
The owners have had this home, which it truly is, in their family for two centuries. It was an incredible experience to be able to be in a home so clearly loved and meticulously maintained. Even the historic family photos of Villa Bacci on the hallway wall tell a story of a place that has an ability to create incredible, indelible memories.

Stunning view
If you want an authentic stay in a beautiful location, villa Bacci is for you. The view from the house and the pool is unbeatable, and Porto Azzurro is a beautiful place to go for a stroll. Communication with Alfredo was very easy, no matter the reason. A very nice place, especially if you go with a large group of people.

Beautiful Villa Bacci
We had a fantastic week at Villa Bacci, it’s a beautiful and unique villa with the most stunning views. Off the beaten track but a short drive to Porto Azzuro and Capoliveri, two of the most picturesque towns on the island and in a good location to explore many of Elba’s beautiful beaches. Lovely pool and outside space. Great communication with the host Alfredo and house manager Giovanni. Thank you for a great stay!

Holiday of a lifetime
This was a whole family, 3 generational holiday. Staying in Villa Bacci was the reason the holiday was such a success. Room to spread out upstairs, a large terrace in front, with beautiful views over Port Azzurro. Refreshing swimming pool with a childproof fence and garden area for the little ones to explore and play in. And Alfredo always helpful when needed. Elba is spectacular too. Altogether pretty perfect.

A truly memorable holiday enjoyed by the whole family.
We found Villa Bacci to be a special and an impressive property commanding a wonderful view over Porto Azzurro. It is in easy reach of this characterful port; its shops, bars and eateries; walking for the young and fit or driving. On some days we rented boats and bicycles and explored some of the island. Several good beaches were within an easy drive. The spacious villa and its substantial and verdant outdoors comfortably accommodated our thirteen and its age range in its bedrooms, bathrooms and its indoor and outside living spaces. The swimming pool met all our expectations and was a continuous source of fun and relaxation for the whole group. What we enjoyed most was the scope the villa provided to either relax and do little or get out and be active, of which the younger members of the group took full advantage. We appreciated Alfredo always being on immediate hand to answer questions or deal with requests. One such request was arranging a cook, Paolo, to prepare two excellent meals for us. The wonderful lasagne was a great success. Villa Bacci is a place we would all be very happy to return to.

Spacious villa with outstanding views
Villa Bacci is a truly beautiful 1800's villa, restored to an Italian 1800's style with incredible views over Porto Azzurro and Capoliveri. Alfredo is a very helpful host who was always available if I had a question to ask the response was always very quick and useful, with tips on what to do on a cloudy day. We were a family of 3 couples and everyone had their own space. A great villa, location, host and pool. Thank you.

Ho trascorso una settimana a villa Bacci insieme agli amici, e questa residenza è stata un elemento fondamentale per la riuscita di questa vacanza. Gli ampi spazi ci hanno permesso di stare in armonia, la cura degli arredi e l'architettura di questa antica villa ci hanno dato la sensazione di vivere in un tempo passato, quando c'era la cura dei particolari. Siamo stati talmente bene da non aver mai sentito l'esigenza di accendere il grande televisore che c'è nel salone. Nella villa si trova qualsiasi cosa si cerchi, dalla padella gigante ai piatti di tutti i tipi. Ci sono talmente tanti armadi e ripostigli che è stato divertente trovare degli accessori da cucina a distanza di giorni dal nostro arrivo. Inoltre, a differenza da come spesso accade, le foto poste sul sito non rendono giustizia, la villa è molto più bella e spaziosa di quello che ci aspettavamo. Il signor Alfredo, il proprietario di villa Bacci, è di una gentilezza e disponibilità disarmante, sempre pronto a soddisfare qualsiasi nostra richiesta. L'isola d'Elba ha un mare stupendo e tantissime spiagge ben curate e diverse tra loro, ma villa Bacci è stata talmente confortevole da farci decidere più volte di rimanere in giardino a contemplare il panorama sul mare di Porto Azzurro. All'unanimità abbiamo convenuto di aver scelto il posto giusto per soggiornare, e ci siamo ripromessi di tornare in quel luogo magico. Sergio

Wir haben nun schon den vierten Urlaub am Stück in der Villa Bacci verbracht - und wir sind noch immer verzaubert von diesem wunderbaren, einzigartigen Ort. Alfredo und seine Familie ist es gelungen, die Würde dieses Hauses mit wenigen modernen Eingriffen zu bewahren. Die Aussicht und der Sonnenuntergang sind atemberaubend. Posto incantevole con vista sul mare
Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questa bella villa. Eravamo tre coppie di amici ma la casa è così grande che c'era posto per altre tre coppie. Molto confortevole, con un bel giardino dove mangiavamo la sera dopo una giornata di mare. Non fa mai caldo perché è in collina per cui la notte si dorme benissimo. La consiglio a chi vuol godere di una vacanza rilassante, lontano dalla confusione ma vicini alle più belle spiagge.

Fantastische Villa und Urlaub
Wir sind im März in Villa Bacci gewesen. Die Insel Elba kennen wir gut, da wir bereits seit 7 Jahren dorthin fahren, jedoch war es nun erstmalig zur Frühjahrszeit. Es war eine sehr schöne Erfahrung, und wir haben Elba anders erlebt, mit tollen Spaziergängen auf den Bergen und in die schönen Dörfer. Villa Bacci liegt an einem wichtigen Spazierweg, die vom Parco Toscano empfohlen werden und dies war eindeutig von Vorteil für uns leidenschaftliche Spaziergänger. Villa Bacci ist ein wahrhaftiges Paradis, sowohl aufgrund seiner Eigenschaften eines historischen, gelungen renoviertes Hauses, die antike Einrichtung und die Lage, sondern auch für den wunderschönen Garten mit Blick auf die Dörfer Portoazzurro und Capoliveri. Zwei von sechs Zimmern sind mit Waermepumpen geheizt, aber wir haben nicht gefroren. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten sogar im Garten grillen ( kleiner Tipp, kauft das Fleisch beim Metzger Paolo in Porto Azzurro, das ist etwas Besonderes). Wir sind froh, diesen Urlaub kurzfristig organisiert haben zu können weil er unsere Erwartungen sehr übertroffen hat. Unsere Gruppe, die aus 2 Familien bestand, hat sowohl das Haus als auch Elba in der niedrigen Saison sehr zu schätzten gewusst. Sicherlich werden wir nach Elba zurückkehren, vielleicht im Mai, wenn die Tage länger und wärmer werden und das Baden möglich ist Villa Bacci ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen für die Kommunikation auf Englisch mit dem Inhaber, der immer schnell antwortet und für Tipps oder Informationen zur Insel verfügbar ist. Villa Bacci : bella, confortevole e con un panorama mozzafiato.
Il nostro soggiorno in questa villa è stato molto bello. La struttura ha tutti i confort richiesti, per non parlare della posizione da cui si gode la vista del porticciolo di Porto Azzurro e che al tramonto offre un panorama splendido.Il proprietario si è dimostrato disponibile a soddisfare tutte le nostre esigenze per cui ripeteremmo volentieri l'esperienza.

Grossfamilien-Urlaub in herrlicher Villa
Soeben aus unserem Grossfamilien-Urlaub zurück, sind wir glücklich, eine wunderbare Zeit in der Villa Bacci verbracht zu haben. Die Kommunikation mit Alfredo war vor, während und nach dem Urlaub sehr gut und umfassend; er hat sich immer nach dem Befinden erkundigt und seine Hilfe angeboten. Das CheckIn und CheckOut mit Giovanni war sehr freundlich und schnell und eine leere Gasflasche für den Grill wurde umgehend von ihm ersetzt. Die Lage der Villa und der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Umgeben von riesigen Pinien und Palmen, einem Weinberg und viel Natur (inkl. Fasanen und Hasen), kann man sich bestens erholen. Das Übrige tut der wunderschöne, gepflegte Pool. In der Villa hatten wir viel Platz für uns 11 Erwachsene und unsere zwei Enkel. Die Schlafzimmer bieten viel Stauraum und sind geräumig. Bis auf ein kleines Bad im EG, sind die Bäder gross und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Küche und der angrenzende "Lagerraum" bietet alles an Ausstattung, was man zum kochen für eine grosse Gruppe braucht. Der Anfahrtsweg ist in den asphaltierten und naturbelassen Abschnitten "etwas" holperig, ist aber selbst mit einem normalen Kleinwagen gut zu bewältigen (auch während und nach Regenfällen); während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde ein etwas steileres, zerfurchtes Wegstück ausgeebnet. Wenn man die Wegbeschreibung von Alfredo befolgt, findet man problemlos zur Villa. Fazit: wenn wieder einmal ein Familienurlaub auf Elba geplant ist, ist die Villa Bacci erste Wahl! Tolle Villa
Tolle alleinstehende geräumige Villa fern ab vom Trubel, sehr ruhig, Platz für über 10 Personen, leicht zu erreichen 5 Min. von Hauptstraße (teilweise Schotter - kein Problem). Fantastische Aussicht über die Bucht von Porto Azzurro. Toller Pool (sauber, täglich gereinigt!). Exzellente Kommunikation sowohl mit Host (Alfredo) als auch mit Hausmeister vor Ort (Giovanni), sowohl vor Check In als auch während des Aufenthaltes. Insgesamt nur zu empfehlen!! Kleine Kritikpunkte: -man muss mit erheblichen Zusatzkosten rechnen (Reinigung, Bettwäsche, Strom (!)), über 500€ für eine vierköpfige Familie/Woche. Zu der Zeit meiner Buchung teiliweise nicht aufgeführt (steht jetzt aber drin, daher nun mehr Transparenz). - teilweise nicht sehr sauberes Geschirr (Essensreste vom Vorgänger), etwas ältere Küchengeräte (z.B. Außengrill defekt)

Super Villa, super gepflegt, wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Meer und die Dörfer. Wie die Bilder vermitteln sollen aber noch viel schöner.Unkomplizierte und schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Hausbesitzer und auch mit dem Verwalter vor Ort. Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Herrliche Tage auf Elba
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Alfredos Villa! Riesig groß, mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten und vor allem mit der besten Aussicht ever! Es war an Ostern noch etwas kalt, aber die Heizung hat gut funktioniert. Den Pool kann man im April noch nicht nutzen, das sollte in der Anzeige erwähnt werden. Die Anreisebeschreibung in den sehr gute Reiseunterlagen ist etwas irreführend (ein Wegweiser ist falsch beschrieben), aber wir haben den Weg dennoch gefunden. Küche ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben fast immer zusammen gekocht - einzig für 4 - 5 Personen zum Arbeiten etwas wenig Platz, aber das sind halt die baulichen Voraussetzungen. Insgesamt sind wir mit einem positiven Gefühl abgereist und könnten uns gut vorstellen, ein weiteres Mal in der Villa Bacci zu residieren :-)

Great Villa with breathtaking view
The house is wonderful and the view is incredibly beautiful. we really enjoyed the stay. The way tobte Villa is difficult to find and extremely bumpy. Four wheel drive would be good. Alfredo and Giovanni were super helpful and nice. The terrace is just a dream! There were enough bathrooms for our group of four families with teenagers. Some of the rooms are small. Kitchen (very tiny, cooking with several people is a bit difficult), washing machine, air conditioning (but watch the electricity costs), barbecue - everything works perfectly. The pool is great, but cold and a bit away from the house. Unfortunately you have to walk up a dusty, rocky path. Despite small points with room for improvement, we would come back and absolutely recommend it.

Authentic surroundings and a scenic view.
We were a family of 14 from the age 10 to 80 years old and everybody was happy and enjoyed Villa Bacci very much. Villa Bacci can room so many people because of its size and the authentic way it is build. Villa Bacci has outstanding view and surroundings with space for everyone. Our family has traveled all over the world, and we all agreed that this has been one of the most spectacular places we have stayed. We have enjoyed the authentic house, the very beautiful view over the sea and vineyards, and the swimming pool. We enjoyed the swimming pool during daytime and had sandwiches at the table in the shadow. The terrasse, with the beautiful view, was used morning and evening, where we enjoyed self-made food with ingredients from the local shops. We spend most of the holiday relaxing in the beautiful environment of Villa Bacci. We can recommend you too order chief Michele Nardi to make a dinner for you. He takes care of everything, and it was very delicious. If you rent Villa Bacci you don’t have to go out, because it is so beautiful and relaxing to live in. We all hope to come back to Elba and beautiful Villa Bacci.
