Apartment located by the sea, in a modern building, facing the Atlantic Ocean, in Vila Nova de Gaia-Porto-Foz do Douro River in Northern Portugal. Situated in first line of sea, in Lavadores Beach, is the ideal place for a holiday or short stay and also a beautiful place to live.

Excellent sea view from the living room and kitchen, both with a balcony where you can sunbathe and admire the magnificent sunsets every day. The balconies face West Southwest, North wind sheltered, with magnificent sun exposure.

This 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 and is almost new, with very few signs of use and newly furnished. Has a spacious living room and kitchen, both with balcony facing the sea, where you can relax, sunbathe and admire the beautiful sunset every day. The living room is equipped with comfortable and modern sofas, has a 42-inch Plasma TV, cable television with 100 channels and free wireless Internet access, 50 Mb/s. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking equipment and utensils.

The 2 rooms are equipped with king size beds and super comfortable bagged Springs mattresses with a layer of premium memory foam, to allow a deep rest and relaxing. 2 bathrooms with WC and shower and one with Jacuzzi tub.

Conveniently equipped with clothing, towels, all utensils and equipment needed for 6 people.

Comfortable condo in great location
Owner met us provided keys and info and gave us a tour. Nice views from balconies and easy access to Porto and surroundings. Lots of nearby restaurants and great boardwalk system along the ocean.

Nice location and great appartment
We had a very good moment in this nice appartment in Vila Nova de Gaia, with a great view on the ocean. The location is quite close to Porto and very convenient. The host was very helpful. We definitely recommend !

Modern apartment on seafront
Comfortable apartment on first floor of a modern apartment block near bars and restaurants and 10 minutes by car from a large shopping mall. The apartment is quite well equipped for a holiday stay and has a bathroom and a separate shower room. It should be noted, however, that the apartment is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to the beds and settee being very low and the configuration of the bathroom and shower room. There is a large parking space in the underground carpark with easy access. The apartment faces the sea although the view of the sea is partially blocked by trees on the seafront across the road. Although the owners advertisement states that the apartment shows little signs of wear and tear this may have been true some years ago but some of the furniture now needs to be renewed and the bathroom had some black mould around the bath. The owner did mention that he was comsidering replacing the bath with a shower which could help to make the apartment more disabled friendly.

Wir haben in der Ferienwohnung nichts vermisst. Optimale Lage am Meer und nach Porto ist es nicht weit. Für zwei Personen hat man mehr als ausreichend Platz. Gastronomie ist fusslæufig gut zu erreichen.Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage ist wertvoll, wenn man am Wochenende anreist.

Très bon accueil du propriétaire. L'appartement est très propre, très bien équipé, moderne, tout le nécessaire est à notre disposition. Face à la mer comme indiqué. Il est possible d'aller sur une petite plage juste en bas, en face de l'immeuble. La grande plage est à 1km. Restaurants à proximité et commerce alimentaire à 15 minutes à pied. Merci.

Vue superbe !
Appartement au 1er étage, avec 2 terrasses, offrant une superbe vue directe sur l'océan. Situé dans un quartier très agreable et calme, idéal pour faire des balades a pieds, a vélo sur les pistes longeant la plage. Le centre de Porto est accessible en bus (comptez une petite heure) ou Uber pour 5 €. L'appartement est très agreable avec un équipement complet. Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Marcos que je remercie

Appartement sehr sauber, gute Betten. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet ( Küchenrolle, Tabs f . WM +GM, Weingläser, scharfe Messer usw) Probleme mit Internet wurden vom Inhaber sofort behoben. Fahrt nach Porto City mit Uber ca. 10 Minuten. Restaurants aller Niveaus in Fussnähe. Strand ok, Strasse zwischen Balkon und Terrasse. Supermarkt ca. 10 Fussminuten entfernt.

Urlaub wie er sein sollte
Marcos hat uns gut in die Wohnung eingeführt, alles wie im Inserat beschrieben vorgefunden. Abreise ging völlig problemlos. Die Lage genial, die Schlafzimmer nach hinten raus dadurch sehr ruhig zum schlafen. Wir hatten leider Pech mit dem Wetter aber dafür kann niemand etwas. Falls wir nochmals in diese Gegend kommen sollte. Dann wieder hierher.

An unlikely slice of heaven
The apartment is clean and modern and has everything you could want from strong wifi to hot showers. At first Lavadores looked like a slightly overbuilt seaside strip. When you get to know it you realise it is rather special, situated on a huge stretch of sandy coast with good, reasonably priced restaurants and a fine supermarket a 15-minute walk away. It is not a nightlife place but excellent for families and those seeking something quieter and more civilised. From your balcony window you will see a lot of walking and cycling and be inspired to walk and cycle yourself. Swimming was difficult most days because the waves are huge, although our daughters did swim towards the end of the holiday when the sea calmed. Without a car you need to get your head round the bus and metro ticketing system but once you have Porto is just half an hour away. Marcus was attentive and helpful and communicated with us brilliantly in very good English in a run-up dominated by Covid fears and travel restrictions. We had a lovely time. Thank you.
