"The apartment is like a 1970s time capsule! We were a bit shocked at first, but it is super clean and in great shape. There is a washer if you need it and a kitchen with everything you need. The porch is huge with gorgeous views of the lake. As far as I know, there is no wifi. I reached out and never heard back. There also is no shower, but there is a tub with a shower head on a hose. "Sehr schön. Sehr schöner Blick von der großen Terrasse auf den See, abends besonders schön, wenn die Lichter in Stresa oder auf der anderen Seite in Baveno leuchten. "The apartment was exactly as pictured with a gorgeous view of the lake! The area is private and quiet. Laura was so kind to us! She picked us up at the train station and took me grocery shopping. We did not rent a car and the apartment is about a mile from town. I would say you might want one if you want to be out late. The trail to town is rustic and not something you could do in the dark. It is very steep! The apartment was well equipped and we got groceries and made a lite dinner each...

"Such a perfect spot to land after our flight from the US to Milan. Miranda made us feel so welcome! Our son slept on the main floor, we slept upstairs. Perfect small european kitchen with everything we needed for home-cooked meals. Lovely restaurant cafe in this charming small town. We even came back for a few days' stay later during our trip, did our laundry, hung to dry on Miranda's clothesline. Really such perfect and unique spot!!"

"We enjoyed staying at Sara’s apartment and the view was wonderful. We practised walking to and from town finding the most comfortable side of the street to walk on with two way traffic going by. The accommodations were very comfortable and we followed the manual instructions for using modern stove and oven. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The apartment is located at the perfect spot of Stresa, close to bus stop, ferry terminal, shopping and restaurants. Very spacious rooms with two bedrooms and two baths. However, there is very limited pots and pans in the kitchen. Unfortunately, there was construction underway on the upper floor during the period of our staying so lots noise when the demolition work started. Overall we enjoyed our time in Stresa."
