"We had an incredible time at The Hotel Portsmouth! The Garden Suite was roomy and well maintained. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and the walk-in shower was so nice! The folks at The Hotel Portsmouth was so accommodating and friendly. They even placed a bottle of champagne in our room as this was for a romantic weekend. The location was perfect and everything was within walking distance. It was a rainy stay, off and on and the hotel has umbrellas for guest use, which was so helpful! Everything was perfect and we will absolutely be staying here again in the future! "

"I loved what Wyndham has done with the Howard Johnson brand. The rooms had bright orange walls which is a pretty cool reminder of what hotel you’re in. The staff was great. The breakfast was a nice touch. All items were well stocked. The management team should be proud of the staff and property. I will certainly return next time we’re in Portsmouth."
