The Blue star House Hotel is on a 1way street, which is very quiet and peacefull. Very close to lots of restaurants and bistro bars. Close to a couple of shops, and very nice area on the edge of old southsea area.

Superb location. Parkings abit tricky but i got lucky on the street right outside. The place is immaculate new furnished. I will defo stay again when in pompey.

A really lovely little place to stay. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. Having kitchen facilities to use is a bonus although we didn’t use them. The shower wasn’t great (rain head only) and I really struggled to work it. It would also be great to have a mirror in the bedroom area for getting ready as the only mirror was in the bathroom.

The accessibility of the property was very convenient, with a PIN to access the front door and hotel room. It was in a perfect location near the seafront for my trip to Victorious festival. The area was surprisingly quiet for the middle of Southsea! The room was clean and pleasant, however I did expect more facilities for the price I paid: a kettle, tea/coffee in the room would have been nice. I did appreciate that I could make hot drinks in the kitchen. All in all a pleasant stay in this self catering hotel.

Decent value for an overnight stay.

This is the first time I have stayed at a hotel where I have met neither other residents, nor staff. You are provided with key codes for the front door and your room. The accommodation reminded me or my student days. A bed, a second-hand desk and some shelves, with a communal kitchen area. But the bed was comfortable and I slept like a log. I arrived late and was up for an early meeting the next day, so this was all I needed. The price was very reasonable, so I consider this decent value.

A non hosted property but very clean, comfy and convenient. I didn't see another guest for my stay, so also quiet.

Clean and comfortable

Excellent value for money and great location. Parking can be difficult although resident permits available if you can find a space. Bathroom radiator was on all night and not sure how to turn off.

The property is in a quiet road in Southsea, however parking is extremely limited and after midnight loud and noisy students walk between the bars and their rooms. The overhead "Rain" shower is not good and water pressure is rubbish. Kitchen was well stocked, but other guests didn't keep it so clean as required. However, I did enjoy the three days and would stay again.

Ok Hotel

Keyless entry was not very good. Could not gain entry to the hotel for approx. 40 minutes as number was wrong. Free parking isn't until 6pm, and only on street. Rooms not cleaned. Kitchen nice.

Ett hotell med medelmåttig standard. Smidig, digital in och ut-checkning. Lugnt område. Bra gemensamma köksytor men dåligt tryck i duschen drar ner betyget. Mindre livsmedelsbutik och restauranger ca 150m från hotellet. Vill man äta en riktigt god middag så rekommenderar jag Algarve grill och vill man inte laga sin egen frukost så kan jag varmt rekommendera en ”the full delaney” på Delaneys som ligger ca 400m i nordvästlig riktning.

Good stay, clean house and the staff is helpful

Emma was very friendly and helpful. The house is clean and they provide everything you need (iron, coffee, tea..) you can buy your stuff and put it in the fridges.. The only issue was the parking as it was difficult to find a place but there are several options available as they give you a parking authorisation for the KC area..

The place was lovely only a few things I find that would of been better is there was no light near the bed, did not like the code 2 get in the room, as battery empty before I left could not get in my room,had 2 ring someone 2 come over, no phone number in case of emergence, part from that everything was ok
