"This hotel is in a perfect location directly on the sea shore. That is only good thing I can say. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. "Very quiet area, yet also very close to the heart of the old city (just down the steps). Not fancy, but very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and chatty. Although my room with a balcony was said on the website listing to have "no view" it did in fact have a view of the sea, and a breeze every evening helped to cool things down and dry my laundry. I stayed here once in 2009 and again in 2025. Would definitely recommend."
