"We came here to Lake Providence, LA to celebrate the life of our Mother, Carrie King Williams(Madear). Her parents were William & Queenie King.This was her hometown. I remember riding in her car as a child coming to visit my grandparents and seeing this home across from the lake over 50 years ago. She grew up and graduated from Lake Providence H.S. "Madear" was 96 years young and this setting brought everything full circle. Everyone near and far enjoyed the stay. Thank you Cassie for anwsering our questions and making sure that we were all set for our stay. We will definitely book this property again when we come back in the area."

"It was a great stay in a nice RV park with extremely easy access to Eagle Lake. I didn’t realize it was a camper (my fault), but it was very nice and peaceful. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip and the scenery was fantastic."

"Let's talk about the positives first. The place was clean on the inside, the beds comfortable, and the hosts were nice people. Wifi had no internet access so the TV was useless. The "full" kitchen had no oven. The "full" bath had a 1/2 size bathtub. If you are looking for a private retreat, this is not it. The owners house is immediately to the left and another trailer/rv immediately to the right. The sitting area outside needed cleaning and the grill looked like it had been hit by a truck. Empty planters were in the corner and the host's bathroom window looked directly at it. The " pond" was not much more than a hole in the ground with what looks like a water feature in disrepair at one end. The fire pit area looked to have had no attention in a long time. It had rained very hard the morning of our stay and we had to wade water to get in the room. We read in room reviews about muffins, snacks and treats being left. We found a couple of bottles of water in the frig. My wife and I appreciated the cleanliness of the inside but I feel the outside had not had any attention in quite awhile."

"This property is well equipped and nicely located. I did have a small issue. However, Syble the host was very responsive and accommodating. She more than made up for the up for the minor issue. I would definitely recommend this location and Syble as a host. I look forward to my next trip home. I will definitely book with Syble in the future."
