"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "This circa 1700’s village was both interesting and beautiful. The staff was very caring and communicative. Parking was great once you can find it. The walls are a bit thin so noise travels but guests were respectful and that was the only downside. The bed was xcelle t and a FAN was provided in room. Nearby restaurants were excellent and the towns on the coast were really fun to visit. Truly a highlight of our trip. "

"Deberían mejorar las instalaciones o bajar el precio, solo un espejo y pequeño, te cobran por traerte el desayuno que ya has pagado y para nuestro gusto le faltó algo de bollería y más café, poner un bar o un restaurante por que cuando quieres comer o cenar tienes que irte a buscar algo y en Carnota en invierno no es agradable, lo mejor el personal, eso si que es de 10! "Familiengeführtes Hotel & Restaurant mit schönem Außenbereich inkl Pool und Garten. Zwei freundliche Hunde im Außenbereich. Zimmer einfach, Betten sehr bequem. Hellhörig. Nachts aber ruhig und friedlich. Frühstück auf spanischem Niveau, ab 9 bis 11 h. Bei früherer Abreise Lunchpaket möglich. Abendessen ab 20 Uhr ( in Noia gibt es Optionen früher Abend zu essen , die wir genutzt haben). Tolle entspannte und familiäre Atmosphäre - empfehlenswert. "

"Hotel itself was very nice. Staff were excellent. Meals and drinks were great. Room was small but clean. Air conditioning unit to cool the room was mediocre. Would liked to have been closer to a downtown nightlife. Overall the place was very good and if we came back to Palmeira or had our friends/family stay there we would recommend the hotel. "

"Both bedrooms smelled very bad because of the bathroom pipes. We felt we slept in a sewer. Terrible night sleep because windows had to be opened and there were a lot of mosquitoes coming in the room. We woke up with multiple mosquito bites. Also, when booking it did not state an additional charge for a late check, but we were told that there would be a late check charge after 9pm. "

"This hotel was a good stop along the Camino because it is self contained. It has 2 restaurants which are quite good and lots of lounge area for the guests. Our room came with breakfast which we liked because it had a good variety of choices. It was quiet at night and we would definitely stop there again if in the area even if luxurious it is not!"
