"The perdon who checked me in was not particularly helpful, however the person who chrcked me out was rude! I asked for a taxi to the bus station, she hesitated, then called one taxi who said he was busy, she did not adk for how long. She hung up and then tried to convince me the bus did not go where I wanted to go. I knew better, butshe thought I was wrong and eventually just walked away from me. "Check in took forever ,If you go, take a print out they could not do it with the app ,2 days it took grrr.If you want a drink at the bar be prepared to be thirsty I have never seen such slow service between 10 to 15 min wait wether there are 2 people in front or 10.Food was ok entertainment rubbish,Wine on all inclusive terrible put it on your frozen chips.The pool is wonderful"

"Great hotel and very friendly staff. The outside pool is cold. Reception staff went above and beyond. We arrived at 1 in the morning and still got checked in after calling the out of hours number. Check in only took 5 mins. Walking distance to the beach although there are no pavements so you need to walk on the road. "

"At the end of three week road trip with friends all over Portugal and Andalusia Spain we booked a night at your lovely hotel! The pool was beautiful and very relaxing with a great bar took a nap in the sun! The rooms were very clean hallways could use fresh paint.. the breakfast buffet was delicious Wish the beds were not so hard! The location is great so close to the beach! Highly recommend! "

"No frills kind of place. The business take 2 floors of what seems to be a regular residential building. You need to call to arrange check-in, but it was easy and quick.The commercial, non-touristy area and its overall appearance didn't do justice to how clean, and comfortable the room was."

"Great hotel in Monte Gordo, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful town with amazing beach and very close to the Spanish border. Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic. "Verdelago is a great 5-star resort in the Algarve, away from tourists and tourist traps. It is a vast resort with many things to do. However, potential guests should be aware it is not fully-open. The resort is under construction even though you would not really notice it. They have done a fabulous and mindful job in protected guests from this. Excellent food and staff a little gem of a hotel

"A little gem on the algarve situated in a quiet little village The hotel needs updating in the bedrooms which they are doing but the food was superb and delicious lots of choice to suit every taste bud 😋. The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble they were friendly and very efficient could not praise them enough Maria remembered our room number after a couple of times which was good considering the amount of people there. Ideal location to the beach and the hotel was kept very clean. Would recommend to friends and would return for a quiet and relaxed holiday "
