"The apartment was exactly as pictured with a gorgeous view of the lake! The area is private and quiet. Laura was so kind to us! She picked us up at the train station and took me grocery shopping. We did not rent a car and the apartment is about a mile from town. I would say you might want one if you want to be out late. The trail to town is rustic and not something you could do in the dark. It is very steep! The apartment was well equipped and we got groceries and made a lite dinner each...

"Die Wohnung ist schön und relativ modern eingerichtet, nir das Bad ist etwas schmal. Zum Einkaufen ist sie super gelegen zum Strand ist es aber zu Fuß sehr weit aber mit dem Auto kein Problem."

"Such a perfect spot to land after our flight from the US to Milan. Miranda made us feel so welcome! Our son slept on the main floor, we slept upstairs. Perfect small european kitchen with everything we needed for home-cooked meals. Lovely restaurant cafe in this charming small town. We even came back for a few days' stay later during our trip, did our laundry, hung to dry on Miranda's clothesline. Really such perfect and unique spot!!"

"Our host was very helpful. She was there to greet us when we arrived. She showed us how things worked. She went over boat time tables and things to see in the area. It was a nice roomy apartment ; we enjoyed our time in Stresa. A nice place to unwind and get away from the crowds"

"The apartment is located at the perfect spot of Stresa, close to bus stop, ferry terminal, shopping and restaurants. Very spacious rooms with two bedrooms and two baths. However, there is very limited pots and pans in the kitchen. Unfortunately, there was construction underway on the upper floor during the period of our staying so lots noise when the demolition work started. Overall we enjoyed our time in Stresa."

"There are about 25 apartments in Colina Verde B - ours was closest to the pool and there was almost nobody else there - the pool was essentially our private pool. Nice clean place, beautiful setting, 7 minutes to the waterfront by car. Ascona is a lovely little place with a lively waterfront scene. All in all, ne of the best spots we have ever rented. "
