"We had an extremely relaxing four nights at the cabin and highly recommend Lake Settons. The cabin was very close to the lake,it was peaceful and had everything we needed. Check in and check out was very easy. We would definitely stay again."

Despite being attached to the owners residence we barely knew they were there! "The drive out into the countryside is well worth the effort. We stayed in the two bedroom gite and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The gite is spacious and has a lovely gravel patio area in front with great views of the countryside. "We had a lovely weeks stay with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-16) The house is well equipped and owners were friendly and helpful. It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. "J'ai séjourné dans ce gîte pendant 3 jours avec mes deux petites chiennes berger des shetland car je me rendais dans la région pour un stage de mantrailing. Tout était parfait : propreté impeccable, endroit très calme, gîte très cosy. Hôtesse très accueillante et très sympatique et qui plus est adore les animaux. Je recommande les yeux fermés! Je pense que c'est l'un des gites de la région que j'ai le plus apprécié. Encore merci!"

"The photos don’t do the small house justice. The owners are both lovely and go out their way to help you make your stay, the most enjoyable it can be. The views are fabulous and theres no mention of the long and short walks, that start 50m from the property, travelling through the Forrest and finishing at a pub/restaurant 1km from the accommodation."
