"At first the communication with the company was great very easy payment. When walking into the cabin it smelled terrible like something died in there. It also was so many fruit flies and stink bugs everywhere most alive some dead. Me and my family went to the closest store to get bug spray and candles. "I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. "We found the hotel quite by chance after our previous booking at Asheville was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene. We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the hotel, the location, the staff, the hot tub, the hiking trails, and the trout I had in the Tapoco Tavern was one of the best meals I have had during my time in the US.
