"The Grand Hotel is a gem of a find in an adorable town. It is THE place to stay in Boska Voda. Right on the promenade and directly across from the beach. Tons of dining and entertainment options right out the door. The oceanfront view was amazing. "Difficult check in and out. Wanted pool towels and had to go back to check in and put deposit which is understandable but once again had to go to main desk and wait. They could have told us when we checked in. Also, had to call for them to lower temperature in room. They did but it was still hot."

"Amazing Makarska beachside hotel with lovely refreshing pool and seconds away from long pebble beach along which there were loads of restaurants and bars. Had good size beautifully positioned seaview balcony with agave-style plants overlooking the pool and the sea. We booked half board option and had great buffet food for breakfast and evening. "Beautiful location and lovely hotel. Very modern and accessible. Nice pool area and dinning area. We stayed bed and breakfast and couldn’t fault it. Rooms were spacious and decorated well - it would have been good to have had somewhere to store cases but it wasn’t the end of the world as we had room to leave them on the floor. Breakfast had a good variety of options and a Isobel from 7-11. We had to check out early and were giving a breakfast box to take away. Lovely location within walking...
