"First, the positives - room was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Now the negatives (1) hard to find the place there is a small sign on the door, about 10 by 12 inches and no street name. We had to ask a few locals and most of them didn’t know where it was. (2) nowhere did it say you have to climb 50+ stairs in a very hot stairwell, to get to the room. There is no elevator. We were on a three week trip with two large suitcases. We found a man in the street and paid him...

"Hotel is not a hotel but a room for the night. You get a token to present to one of two cafe for a coffee and pastry in the morning which is the free breakfast. The reception is always closed, even at the announced opening times which is inconvenient. It’s rather basic. However it in a great location with everything you need close by but you are basically fending for yourself. I wouldn’t let it put you off if you are confident in staying in a room in a building that has no other facilities....

"Let me start by saying this hotel is a beautiful hidden gem. The staff were extremely attentive, kind, and very thoughtful. We were leaving before 7 AM in the morning and that evening they brought breakfast for us knowing that we would miss breakfast. The room was extremely clean. They have beautiful terrace with a pool lemon trees growing around the rooms. It was a very authentic Italian experience. "Lovely spacious room in the old city close to the Fort. We had room 104 of the collection of Blanco B&B’s which is over a Bar. This does mean it can be very noisy early in the morning when they’re setting up the cafe and also the early morning garbage and bottle collections are very loud. The people who run the cafe s are lovely and we enjoyed a delicious and basic Italian breakfast there each morning as part of our booking. "

"The room was great other than it was on a loud, busy street. Unfortunately, I only learned when I was to meet the host that I was not staying at the location shown on my booking confirmation. The communication of where my actual room was was difficult as 2 of my 3 translation apps described it as an office/place of business so it was difficult to recognize where I was supposed to be. Also, compared to the several other B&Bs that the friends I was traveling with stayed, my hosts did not provide...
