"Arrived at hotel only to find no one there and bar closed, hotel restaurant closed. I complained to the young man at desk but he was only a low paid employee who apologized repeatedly. I paid for two ocean view rooms for two nights. Room door would not close, shower head broken, toilet wouldn't flush. Rooms needed paint. Ants in both rooms. Many items on menu not available lack of money to resupply bar and food items. Awesome views but hotel very tired. Management to be found anywhere only...

"We really enjoy our stay at this hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, with all you need for a family vacation. This is a small hotel with a great pool and outstanding service. It is still in the final stages of a renovation but very few things are still being completed."

"We only stayed two nights, but we loved it. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the playa Carillo is absolutely beautiful. The food is really good. There is sunset yoga, I did not know and I wish I would have !"
