Amazing relaxing property. Salvador is a great bartender making fun drinks! The property was so good we became members and plan on returning soon! The only thing they can do is put a tv outside somewhere for us to enjoy the PRO games. We went for out morning swim into the freezing cold to watch it in the bar.

The hotel was empty. Just two restaurants working for dinner only one for luch. The hotel really does not have a beach, there are so many stones and the water is so dirty, that none can even thing use the beach.

We arrived at the property and the road leading up to the property is terribly bad, possibly the worst in Cancun, with many pot holes. Typically, this would not be a problem, however it is a family resort, and we were traveling with 3 young children aged 6, 5 and 8 months, this road is a serious concern. The hotel staff took out bags and we were escorted into a private area, allow me to say that we do not have any real status with the Hyatt so this was a nice touch. A few minutes later, we were introduced to Alberto, Alberto informed us of an offer, for the Hyatt vacation club, this was the worst part of our trip. I’m an honest person, so I hold others to the same standard. Alberto informed us of the club, we would have to sit through a 90 minute presentation at the dreams hotel, however it was next door. (Fast forward, it was not next door, it was a minute drive, the resort looked beautiful, however, I asked about the length of time of the presentation, and it was 90 minutes. I asked to be taken back to our hotel, essentially wasting 2.5 hours of my day on a vacation for my children.) Then introduced to our Butler, Gerardo, he welcomed us with “welcome home…” I love this, it was unexpected, and the man is a rockstar. We were disappointed that we were not made aware of the construction blocking the ocean view and the beach. In addition, Hyatt needs to do something about the name m, we and many others we spoke to through we were staying at the Hyatt Cancun with dolphins…

I recently stayed at this all-inclusive resort with my partner and we had a blast! The food was pretty good - best restaurants were Miyako for dinner, Habaneros for lunch and cheeseburgers any time lol. All of the staff was wonderful from the moment you step out of your vehicle onto the resort. A special shoutout to Manuel at the spa, Alberto at the pool, and Eduardo at the bar as just some memorable staff there. The only downside to this resort was that there was no beach access due to the hurricane and for safety the area was closed off; however, that did not stop the fun. I would recommend this place to any friends of family to create memories that will last a lifetime!

This was the worst resort I’ve stayed at. First of all the restaurants at this resort sucked. They advertise many restaurants are available available on the hotel property, but in reality there are only three or four and of that the Japanese restaurant is closed pretty much every single day. We only got to eat there one day and that was our last day before we left. The quality of the food at each restaurant is just terrible. The fish is unseasoned unsalted the portions are just way too small. This resort makes it seem like there is breakfast lunch and dinner available at the buffet, but there was only breakfast available and it is the same exact breakfast every single day. They advertise a waterslide that is never open. They advertise that there is entertainment available there. It is the most ratchet entertainment I’ve ever seen. It is a bunch of people playing music off of YouTube and then getting people to come and join in by the bar area. They did have a sports bar that had a pool table and some games but that closed early every single night by 10 11 o’clock that was completely closed. There’s no nightlife at this resort. There is no daylight because there is barely anybody there around the pool except for the life. Guard. They have the tiniest elevators in the world that you could probably fit two people and one luggage that’s how small it is. Many of the rooms had an ant issue. There’s also raccoons everywhere. The next time I come to Mexico, I will never stay here.

Hyatt Ziva Riviera is a great All-Inclusive hotel for both family and couples who would want a tranquil escape from the busy world. With daily and nightly activities on site you do not need to leave at all. It is very quiet and the warm staff makes you feel welcomed and safe. We were are awe with our top tier butler, Dider, who made our stay even more comfortable and fun. We will definitely be coming back to this exquisite resort in the near future. 10 stars… L Stevens🇦🇬
