AFFORDABLE OCEANSIDE PRIVATE VILLA, STAFFED, POOL, NOT A TIME-SHARE

You can see the ocean from our 4400 square foot Villa Carolisol as Playa Cofresi is only 100 yards away! It is a quick walk to the beach that is protected in the cove so it is perfect for swimming.

There is 3 large air conditioned bedrooms on the first floor with 6 queen size and 2 twin beds and 2.5 baths. A 4th bedroom has a kingsize bed, full bath and balconies that offer ocean and mountain views. We can accomodate up to 16 guests. There is a crib and highchair for little guests.

There also is a private studio suite that rents separately for two more guests that has a kingsize bed, full bath, kitchen, living area and patio. It is closed off from the rest of the Villa or can be opened up to be part of the villa.

There is plenty of room for both group or individual activities with living room, dining room, balconies and the private pool and patio. Renting the studio suite offers more space for larger groups.

Discover the neighborhood restaurants that are within walking distance. They offer local fare such as langostino, conch as well as the usual favorites, chicken, hamburgers, pizza. While you are at the villa our full time maid, Maria, will cook and serve your meals, snacks and drinks while you worries she is the dishwasher. She will keep the villa clean and tidy. A second maid will be provided after 4 guests to ensure all guests enjoy a relaxing vacation. Many of our guests want to take Maria home with them, including us. Maria speaks Spanish and English.

Flaco, our houseman, keeps the pool, gardens and Villa in tip top shape. He can be hired to do errands for you.

And 'Just In Case' we have a full time Property Manager who is available 24/7 to address any of your needs that may arise and our staff is there to help if there is a need for anything.

A local Cofresi Tour Operator will come by to offer advice and book any of the numerous activities and tours; horseback riding, jeep safaries, catamaran trips, golf, tennis and SO MUCH MORE! Pick up and drop off right at Villa Carolisol.

The Dominican People have a reputation of being friendly. They go out of their way to please you and make you feel welcome in their country. Many Dominicans now speak and understand English. Enjoy their culture and this beautiful country and its people.

Arrived and other guest were already staying at property, owner rented house to 3 different families. We had to leave without a place to stay on a Mother's Day weekend in Dominican Republic. We were there to take our mother out to relax that weekend and ended up being charged and stay prepaid and already confirmed was not granted. Neither owner, Expedia or VRBO responded to messages or phone calls.

Beware !!! Too Good to be Real
This property sounds amazing, maybe too good to be true. I made my reservation and received confirmation right away. The next day I was messaged by the owner/manager stating the property “is rented for the whole year” . My credit card was charged and when I asked Carllito to refund/ cancel my reservation he said I have to do it. I don’t have access to refund myself, but I did contact VRBO and my credit card. I’m sure I will be refunded, but definitely not worth the headache. I still don’t understand how the property continues to show availability if it’s rented for the year according to Carllito’s message . I’ve had amazing experiences renting through VRBO and they were amazing when I contacted them about this situation. I plan continuing to use VRBO. I really hope no one else goes through this with this property. I’ll update when he refunds the full amount.

Fantastic villa! Spacious accomodations & staff
Villa Carolisol is fantastic and surpassed our expectations. The accommodations, atmosphere, and entire experience were 5 star! The listing description didn't do the villa justice with its close location to everything we could want, internal room layout and villa amenities. We had 3 generations (2 parents, 2 grandparents and 3 kids: 12, 9 &6) staying for 10 days and it met all of our needs -and more. The rooms and villa were spacious, the staff beyond accommodating -Maria and Santa are unbelievable! (Anything you want cooked or cleaned, they do with a smile and fast). The owner, Gary, was also extremely helpful when we asked for additional suggestions on where we could go to experience PoP. In fact, everyone - from the internal house staff to the external (pool man, driver) were beyond helpful and friendly. Everything was taken care of for us to truly relax and enjoy all the Puerto Plata could offer; without the "touristy feel." The private pool and close proximity to the beach, porch hammock, multiple rooms for socializing in, numerous bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone had their own space, large kitchen and dining areas, and wrap around porches all make it top notch! The inside and outside of the home and decor are beautiful and large. Everything is well kept, clean, safe, and in close proximity to a variety of activities: Beautiful beaches and amazing ocean-wild life experiences at Ocean World (dolphin swimming, shark swimming, sea lion hugging) that you can walk to, great snorkeling, delicious cuisine at gourmet restaurants like Le Papillon, close drive to sightsee at the local Fort or Amber museum, Alto Teleferico cable car, go souvenir shopping, jewelry or cigar shopping, and so much more... Coming from people who are world travelers (including the South Pacific, Caribbean, Latin America, Asia and Europe), fantastic memories were created here and we can’t wait to come back. We highly recommend Villa Carolisol!

This was our third time staying at the Villa and again it was awesome! We absolutely adore Maria and love how pampered she makes you feel. This is an excellent location and close to many wonderful attractions. Clean, comfortable and well looked after. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

WE had an excellent time
We could not have had a better time , being so close to the Ocean and not far from fine restaurants certainly compliments the Villa. We felt comfortable and secure in the large gated community. The Villa staff are friendly and helpful and the food served was excellent,they even had gluten free food !!! The Villa was clean with a refreshing pool that nobody could resist at high noon !! We are heading back ASAP.

Beautiful!!!!!
I just stayed at this villa and had an amazing time!!! The staff was great, and the location was perfect. We were right across the street from the beach and up the street from ocean world. This atmosphere was perfect for anyone looking for a little r&r. I will never stay at a resort again after getting spoiled here. Maria, this women is one is an amazing cook and i would love to bring her her home with me. You definitely get your money's worth from this place and I highly recommend it. This is the place that I would only tell my friends but the place was so great I need you to know about it. This place felt like home away from home. Gary took care of everything, all I did was pay and show up. Make sure you tip the staff because they deserve it!!!! Thanks Gary........

A Great Spacious House..
Let me first start off by by thanking Gary for all his help and patience with booking this vacation. This is a beautiful home inside and out, plenty of space and very well maintained. Mary the maid, her cooking is amazing,and she was a big help with the food shopping. Now as far as the vacation, the location was close to everything, the beach was a stone throw away, clubs,restaurant,bars, and stores were all within walking distance. This trip was a guys getaway, in which I need to thank Gary again for his trust in renting to us. The pool was perfect for cooling off before heading to Sosua or Cabarete for the night. Rambo the car service took us everywhere we wanted to go for a small fee. Me and the guys look forward to staying here again very soon (September) because this house is amazing in size and is in a very safe,quiet area. Thank You Gary.
