"Ricardo and his family were very welcoming. They made sure to text me and communicate with me on the instructions and expectations upon arrival. The grounds are just wonderful and the view of San Juan at night is impeccable. We are from Florida and this was our first time in Puerto Rico, and the family completely met our visions of how this vacation would go. "The property is amazing with great views and unique experience up in the rainforest. It is secluded and provides an eco experience. The roads up to the lodging are a little more challenging but we had a 4x4 vehicle and made it even with heavy rain. The hotel is currently partially under renovations but the host is very nice and try to ensure an enjoyable experience. Don't go into it thinking its a 5 star resort but rather an off-the-beaten-path experience."

We left the property clean and were overall pleased with this stay and was looking forward to leaving a great review but then we were hit with a $150 request for what we were told was a violation for smoking in the property. Again we are not smokers and no one else was in the property. There is a camera on the property...
