"Staff and restaurant was great, hotel itself was fine. Not much around the area, we specifically booked this hotel because of the pool. We knew we would be travelling for 8 hours on a hot day by motorbike so wanted a hotel with a pool. Went to use the pool and it was "closed for the season" apparently closed on the 1st Sept... we were there on the 2nd.... might seem petty but that was the primary reason we booked the hotel... there is nothing noted about pool closure on Expedia or the hotel...

"Great property with lots of facilities. Everything we needed to cook was there. House itself is lovely. Little bit tired but I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Gardens do need a little TLC. Plants/bushes need a cut back. Pool area tiles are crumbling and stick to wet skin. Property agent fab.
