"Room was a bit smaller than expected with kitchenette, no AC so very hot at night. Mattress was a bit mushy and roof over patio leaked onto the table when it rained. Not much privacy since you can hear all neighbors. Very picturesque but probably wouldn’t stay there again. "

"This locale was a welcome change from all the action in Kona. Out of the way but within a long half hour drive to Volcano National Park. Nearby town has twice weekly market and great Bakery. Be aware that the condos are the only remains of a golf resort. No AC in units but plenty of fans and the ocean breeze cools things off at night. Nice pool and hot tub with a view of ocean and two nice barbeque grills. A few minutes walk to famous black sand beach with turtles. Best visited in early morning...

"Unit had everything we needed. No air conditioning but lots of fans, still was too warm for us. It is very close to the pool with nice ocean views and sounds of the waves crashing. Pool was nice, not sure how often it was cleaned, the hot tub was nice but not filtered enough as it did have a heavy sunscreen film. No umbrellas available at the pool if you want shade. "
