"We visited the place at the end of August. We had a wonderful experience. Felix went above and beyond to accommodate for us. We got to the lake very late, around 10 PM but Felix was still nice and picked us up from the lake sure. The tour the day after was great and the breakfast was very good. The room was ver clean. She helped arrange transportation from the airport and were dropped off to her front door where she was waiting to greet us. "The property is beautiful, and the family here is so sweet and welcoming. They have an option to have lunch and dinner made for you, which I highly recommend as you are not on the mainland. "The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the main square. The family owners of this property are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is made to order not the typical stale buffet. We were stuck in the city all day and they allowed us to sit in the lobby and wait. We shared a pizza with the owner and wonderful conversation. The amazing staff more than makes up for the lack of amenities. "

"Our stay at the Sonesta Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They may need to be reminded of any ask twice, but they are really good people. The location is breathtaking. Waking up to panoramic views of Lake Titicaca from our room was an experience I’ll never forget. The room itself was spotless, beautifully appointed, and cozy. And there were alpacas and guinea pigs at the courtyard. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant, which offered a mix of local and Italian cuisine. The hotel’s grounds are immaculate, with peaceful gazebos and a firepit to enjoy the sunset. You can also arrange tours to Uros and Taquile Islands by boat - right from the hotel beach. Oh, they have oxygen in the hotel, too! Stunning, thoughtful and relaxing."
