Really nice hostel with great ocean views. Cozy and inviting common area and quite nice facility overall. The rooms are quite warm and felt a little like a sauna and the breakfast was just bread and cheese and deli meat essentially but seems to be the common hostel breakfast. Would stay again for sure

We arrived around 1130 at night, but that wasn’t a problem for the host. We had a room with two single beds in a private shower for a very reasonable price.

Despite nice seaside location (though away from city center and amenities), there is so much to be done for taking this place seriously. Claims of few promos (2-3 years ago) make no sense. Immediate efforts needed to spruce up the property and improve responsiveness of staff

Could be cleaner.....
Of the three men’s toilets, one was unserviceable and another one couldn’t lock the door. Of the 4 men’s showers all had broken shower heads. Made it very difficult to have a proper shower. The men’s shower and toilets were not swept or mopped so there was a build up of hair on the floors. The dorms, or at least the one I stayed in was not swept once in the 4 days I was there. The common areas were but not the dorms. I’m not sure how they can attain fabulous status level. Breakfast was better than most with a very good selections of food.

Awesome place!
Awesome place. Lovely atmosphere. A bit uncomfortable parking spot, but you'll forget about it as soon as you are greeted with such kind attention.

As a hostel this place rates highly. The bathrooms and dorms were exceptionally clean. The fellow at check-in was very pleasant. We were able to have an eight room dorm just to ourselves (five of us) so that made it more appealing. We appreciated the bag breakfast that was provided in lieu of breakfast to accommodate our early departure. The upstairs common area and kitchen looked well equipped and clean although our stay was very short so we did not make use of it.

Lovely hostel and staff
The hostel was lovely with clean and comfortable beds. The common room was great and from balcony on the second floor we also managed to spot some seals. The staff were lovely and Francisco was especially helpful and friendly when we arrived and helped us out a lot.

It's fine for the price
It's all fine for the price. I'm in a 6-bed dorm, and it's pretty small and cramped, little space for the luggage, and the light over my own bed doesn't work. The showers are small with no place to change or hang stuff - however, the hot water pressure is EXCELLENT. The breakfast provided was excellent too. As for location: - drawback is it is a bit farther out from the city centre, if you want to get to shops, restaurants, tour bookings - excellent point is that it is right on the shores of Magellan Strait, and there is an excellent communal sitting room with big windows overlooking the ocean It's busy and cramped, but if you are on a budget it is clean and secure and an excellent place to stay.

Good hostel in Punta Arenas
Nice hostel. The rooms are small, but warm. The bathrooms are clean. Everything is a bit tight because everything is on the smaller side. But the hostel has everything you need.
