I love the way the honored my birthday. They made me feel special. I wish there was a way to know how to select the adult only side because that’s a preference but we still had a great time. Also the tv reception is really bad.

Housekeeping hit and miss, no bath mats provide with slippery tile floor. Originally put in loud room over pool bar no where room I requested. Moved to another room after several tequests.

property was old in bad shape. Every building was missing lots of shingles and several leaked. The lock on our balcony door had been ripped off and was unable to be locked. the toilet leaked into the floor sporadically and flooded the living area. the toilet would "hang up" and run for 12 hours at a time. Bars continually dipped their utensils in the same bucket of unsanitary tap water all day. Myself, my fiance, and two friends that we met while there got sick from the food/water. I had diarrhea for 9 days including a 103 degree fever. The shows were very amateur. We couldnt leave the room for 3 days because we were so sick and so we ordered room service, however, half of the time the room service never came.

Extremely friendly staff! Very walkable resort! Dario was fantastic as our concierge! Food was very good! Gourmet restauarnt was probably our least favorite. The Italian restaurant was very, very good! Try the tiramisu!!! You wont be disappointed. Golf course is great and the people that work there are great! Club section of the resort is well worth it!

The mini refrig. broke, A/C was broken and took a day and 1/2 to fix. The A/C in the living-room area never worked. Safe would not unlock after we had our valuables inside. 1 sink and the jacuzzi cold water did not work. A sliding door in the room would not close. Customer Service personnel were great. They tried very hard to make us happy but maintenance was not very good. The room needs attention, we still loved our stay. Still recommend.

This was our second trip to DR, and while we looked at other locations and resorts, we came back to the Elegance for our second time (we honeymooned here 10 years ago) because we knew what we wanted and liked, and Elegance had it all. Quiet, adults only areas, swim up bar, beautiful beach, incredible staff, and wonderful people. We've decided we'll be returning much sooner than a decade this time. We love Elegance, and we love Punta Cana.
