It is quite affordable compared to most places in the area. And also rather enjoyable. Good breakfast for the price and fast WiFi. Private rooms of four are good with lockable cabinets for goods.

A punta per un giorno
Sono arrivato a Punta del este dopo un lungo viaggio in auto e purtroppo ho trovato solo questo ostello a prezzi umani. Si parla comunque di 60 dollari a notte a persona. La situazione è terribile. Il posto è bello ma la costruzione e abbandonata da anni. Nessuna manutenzione neppur minima. La maniglia della porta del bagno comune si svitava perché non era avvitata con la sua vite. Lavoro da 2 minuti ripararla. Questi proprietari hanno 10 Messi di far nulla dove potrebbero ridipingere e sistemare tutto per la stagione. E con una spesa minima. Ma non fanno nulla e chiedono cifre paurose viste che è la stagione turistica. Meglio dormire in auto. Toglietelo da Expedia!

Obwohl jeden Tag geputzt wurde war es nie sauber. Lag daran dass die Putzfrau sich auf Müll raus bringen beschränkt hat. Musste 2 Mal umziehen innerhalb von 5 Tagen da Hostel voll und die gebuchten 2 Bett Zimmer nicht verfügbar. Punta del Este ist einige Kilometer entfernt. Hostel wird überwiegend von einheimischen Arbeiter genutzt...

Wirkliches "Hostel Hostel", ohne vorherige Zahlung kein Check In ! Deposit fuer Alles: Laken (selbst beziehen), Schlüssel, Handtuch (separate Leihgebühr). Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatte ein Doppelzimmer, das so gross war wie das Bett für 70USD (Hauptsaison Januar) Boden nicht sauber, Putz in der Ecke. Wenig Flair an der lauten Strasse, aber liegt perfekt als Zwischenstopp zum Airport mit Meer/Ausblick/Strand vor der Tür.

A experiência que tive no Mansa Beach Hostel não poderia ter sido pior. Não se pode usar a cozinha, não é possível ligar o ar-condicionado do quarto e não há como abrir as janelas. Não há lockers para as malas. Voltamos à noite e haviam duas pessoas dormindo em nossas camas e a encarregada nem sabia dizer quem eram.

Minha experiência foi ótima! A equipe é muito atenciosa, atendimento de primeira. Hostel beira mar, bem localizado, entre o centro de Punta e a Casa Pueblo, ponto de ônibus e casa de câmbio em frente ao hostel. Vale a pena.

Best accomodation in town - price/quality
Great location 20 meters away from the beach. Its recently refomed and very clean and tidy. Awesome spot if, like me, you're looking for a relaxing time bonding with local privileges. I specially enjoyed the matress, which are brand new and the thikest I've ever seen in a non-five-star accomodation.

The View and the Beach
For a new hostel could not have been better. The location and view is one in a million. The beach just 100m from the hotel The staff were so friendly and everything was spotless Downtown so easy to get to and with it being early summer the place is starting to hum. Cannot imagine when it fills up in the summer how much fun it will be Wish I had allowed more time for this location. I hope to get back next year Everyone should make a note and visit Punta Del Este and stay here
