"The hotel was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent. Great if you want to be active with a varied programme and equally great if you want to just go and relax. The food was really very good (only experienced Breakfast and Dinner, so can’t comment on Lunch) nice to have a choice of Buffet restaurants. The on-site supermarket is very good, well stocked and reasonably priced. We stayed in a family room (3 adults) it was plenty big enough for us with enough privacy. Very comfortable beds, big fluffy towels and cleaned/made up every day. It had a full size fridge and a microwave and kettle. There were 2 televisions but we didn’t really use and a balcony with a table and 4 chairs. I would say the area surrounding the hotel is not great, quite a walk to Costa Teguise. This didn’t bother us as we were only there a few days for some winter sun. So the coastal path walk was lovely of a morning, we were not looking for anything more than that. If you did want a bit of nightlife out of the hotel, you would need to get the bus from outside or taxi I would say. It’s only about 15 mins taxi from airport which cost 22€ each way. Was very easy to pick up a taxi when coming out of airport and there was a taxi rank just outside the hotel and we only waited about 5 mins for one to come along to take us back to the airport. The hotel reception would have called one if we needed though I am sure. All in all a very positive first experience and we would definitely return. "

We even had enough clothes hangers, a rarity. Breakfast was good and the pool area although the water was fresh, was great to relax at. Could not fault the hotel at all, will happily return."

"Barcalo Royal Level was a great resort - the room was spacious, modern, clean and well equipped. THe main hotel areas are very clean and neatly laid out. The communal toilets near restaurant and pool need some repairs, but every other common area was very nice. The restaurants are so good, the amount of food was amazing and the variety was A LOT! I used the Royal Level restaurant for breakfasts as the chefs making the omelettes, pancakes, bagels, french toast, eggs were better than other restaurants. Other meals I used the bigger buffet restaurants which had more choice. I would recommend the resort it lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Some reviews I read before questions the need for Royal Level booking - but I found it near faultless. I would've liked the Olympic Pool to be included (maybe 2 bookings per trip) but I used the main pools which were really good. The cocktails and access to soft drinks & beer were really good. "
