"A fantastic base from which to explore the many walking routes in the south and west of La Palma. 'Lena's Land' is a comfortable, well equipped house. Fantastic views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Corinna and Andree were very welcoming and helpful hosts - thank you!"

"Everything was great! The house is big and has a super nice outdoor BBQ/eating place. We stayed for a month with 6, the owner is very nice and super helpfull. Ocean really nearby, wifi is fine, etc."

"This is a delightful property. It is a wonderful home which we loved from start to finish. The hosts are a great couple who went above and beyond to make our stay as happy as it could be. We also made good friends with their cats who were always very well behaved. The location is perfect for hikes and for relaxation. The cave is very cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. We felt very much at home. Grit, our host was very helpful and easy going. It's a great base for trips and hikes, but you definitely need a car. The steep road down to the property is a bit of an adventure, but you get used to it."

"Met by the owner who was delightful. She had kindly organised some groceries for us as requested. The property was scrupulously clean and beautifully designed and appointed. The beds are very comfortable and an abundance of towels is provided. The villa was very warm because of underfloor heating throughout. The gardens are lovely. This is a very private location with fantastic views. A car is essential."

"The view of the airport was unique and fascinating, watching the planes come and go without being disrupted was a daily entertainment! The view from our room 419 was superb, sun, ocean and pool view. On avery clear day, you can see Tenerife and La Gomera. The convenience of access to transportation, Santa Cruz and many excursions. All so close. We strongly recommend a car to access this beautiful but very mountainous island. There is no driving in a straight flat line! We found the food varied and generous but you had to make it early enough at meal times to get best selection. On the other hand, the dining room’s acoustics or lack there of made eating or dining a less than romantic experience… say, cafeteria with wine and noise from constant table clearing, supply carts on ceramic….hum…. the food was tasty though and well worth the aggravation. Staff smiling and efficient and we will miss this great deal for a pleasant affordable holiday on La Palma"
