"Having rented accommodation in France in the past, we were expecting the gite to be very basic but we were pleasantly surprised at the size of this one. It was also clean, airy and very well equipped and having use of a pool was a definite bonus. "Upon arrival we were warmely greeted by Jocelyne and Jean Claude who showed us around the cottage. "We had a great stay at La Tour Saint Gelin. The gite is ideally situated and is a great base to go and explore the many attractions in the area. We had a great time playing the monument game in Chinon castle ; we also visited the stables of the Cadre Noir in Saumur, the Bioparc in Doue-la-Fontaine and the public gardens in Richelieu. Nothing could have prepared us for the beauty of the place. it is just stunning and has everything you could want to have a brilliant holiday.
