"From the moment we entered the grounds we were so impressed. All the women that worked there were so kind, helpful and welcoming. The room itself was modern, spacious and spotless. We had beautiful views of the grounds from the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable bed we’d slept on. Such an amazing way to start our first trip to the south of France. "This is a rural restored farm house. We used it as a base for a day trip (3.5 hrs) to Andorra while being able to make it back to Paris in a day. Visited some nearby wineries as well! Breakfast was good. Room and bath clean with nice hot shower. Only issue was lack of ventilation in room. No ac so had to open windows ( without screens) until attacked by mosquitos!"

"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse.
