"The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that."

"We had a slight hiccup in the original property that we were supposed to stay at, but these guys went ABOVE AND BEYOND to fix the issue. We stayed at one of the other properties and it did not disappoint! It was beautiful, peaceful, secluded… I just can’t say enough about the property! We did some fishing and canoeing in the ponds, caught some nice bass. They are a great family to work with, very responsive. We will definitely be back. "This house has a lot of history and reminded me and my wife of our childhood. Very clean and organized! Appreciate the hosts for there efforts in making us welcome. We would recommend this location to anyone and would come back if the opportunity presents itself in the future. The only one negative thing we would say was that the showers did not have great water pressure. I would recommend the shower heads be replaced. "

"Loved the property but was unaware of the fracking drill we could see & hear the entire time we were there. It really creeped me out but at least we were alone & able to turn the music up pretty loud to drown it out. The hot tub was very clean & we enjoyed that several times. "The cabin was nice and clean. However, the whole cabin was unlevel. The floors were slanted. Since the floors were unlevel the toilet wouldn’t flush correctly because the water level couldn’t refill properly when flushed. None of the batteries worked in the remotes for the TV etc. Had to go buy batteries. Also, there is a tree limb that kept scraping the metal roof."

"This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. Although southeastern Ohio was in the midst of a heat wave, we rode bikes early in the morning, visited Salt Fork, Mosser Glass, The Underground Railroad Museum (outstanding, can't wait for their new location), John and Annie Glen home, Zane Gray and National Road Museums. Enjoyed the porch after the sun went down and in the early morning. Joe and family ALWAYS take great care of their visitors and we will visit again. "
