The only disappointing thing was the pool and hot tub both were open yet the water was filthy- brown water with a green rim. Otherwise extremely clean and today. The young lady working the bar, was an absolute hard working individual and nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming. Thank you

Good location and nice size room. It is an older property so there is wear and tear but this is reflected in the price. Bistro was convenient and the staff were lovely. Cheap food and drinks which was a bonus. My son and husband swam in the heated pool which was great. Only thing to note is the noise- people in the corridor and the room next door but it all ended quite early. We would stay again especially for the price.

Check was quick , easy and helpful with room available from advertised time. Whilst room was old in appearance it was clean,tidy and decent size. Continental breakfast was good , wait staff were friendly.

"Everyone loves a night at the country club. The fine dining restaurant is really good, rooms are neat and clean. Bit of yesteryear charm with the grand staircase in front foyer. Don’t forget a spa/sauna/swim before you check out. Have stayed a few times now and we love it."
