"This was a lovely week. The three real benefits of this property are the privacy, nobody bothers you, the proximity of the village, It really is 10 minutes walk and its overall situation. Sitting on the south facing patio looking out over the fields was great. We saw an Eagle, hares, deer and hawks. Perfect if you have a dog, especially the stream walk. We however didn't have a car and it was an 20 min walk to an infrequent train station and buses only run close part of the day so you really need a car to easily stay here or be prepared to pay a bit for taxis. "We are in our 60’s so was looking for a relaxing and quiet holiday, which we got especially with the swimming pool but unfortunately the weather was not great, which no one can control. It is comfortable but it was only the 2 of us. Chantal is very helpful and friendly and everything you need for your stay. Although her house is opposite the cottage she gives you your privacy. "

"Our third year back at Chateau Jautrudon and the week seemed to fly by again. So much to do on site (tennis, swimming, golf, walks in the woods, games inside) and a few trips out (canoeing in Le Blanc, VeloRail at Chauvigny). Nice to see a few improvements in the kitchen plus the addition of a swing and basketball hoop."

"Everything and everyone were great at the Hôtel Emeraude. We were welcomed warmly, told where the room was which was bright and spacious and had air-con which was a bonus as it was a hot day. We were advised on where to park, breakfast and dining options. The area around the hotel is gorgeous and there is a lovely view on the lake from the terrace where we had dinner. I wouldhappily stay there again."

A lovely stay.

"Although the property looks a bit dated, once you are inside the hosts look after you so well all is forgotten. Our room was comfortable and looked out over the river. Amazing views. Dinner was excellent and breakfast on the terrace was a joy. Would certainly recommend, especially if you don't mind seeing the occasional cat. Excellent value for money and happily return for another stay."
