"This is a great little place to stay for a couple of days, easy to quickly check-in and check-out, clean, a bit of wear-and-tear. Importantly, sheets and bathroom were both clean. I was not in Vieques for long, and this was perfect for me. "
"Overall it was a great stay at Old Crow. The suites were really well done. They were spacious, super clean, didn't feel like a hotel, more like a well kept, modern air BNB. The pool was smallish but it worked for the kids and there was plenty of seating and shade. It was a ten minute drive from anywhere you wanted to go and they have their own jeep rental business so that was super convenient. Beyond the rooms, the rest of the property could use a little upkeep but we would definitely stay there...
"Cool modern hotel. Front staff was great. Elevator worked inconsistently, so had to take stairs to third floor. Hard on my husband with joint replacements. Room are small but nice. Only one chair on the deck. Really loud on the street from cars blasting the stereo, and the top floor deck blasts music till about 9 pm. Good for parties but not so much for us old folks who turn in early. But a nice place overall."
"Esperanza Inn is only a few minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants and beaches, had great amenities (shared common space & kitchen, dipping pool, cats, Tyler’s killer coffee) and was very safe. Tyler and Suzanne went out of their way to offer us great recommendations, make us feel comfortable, and were easy to get in touch with. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend Esperanza Inn to anyone staying in Viques!"
"Amanda, the owner, was very pleasant. I didn’t get her name, but the woman at the store’s register was great and very personable. It was nice having the store in the lobby for snacks, drinks, and breakfast is the morning. There are tables to eat your meal and free coffee is provided. You can rent beach chairs for $5 a day. We also rented a cooler. There is no fee for borrowing beach towels. There’s an outdoor shower to rinse sand off before going to your room. There are many roosters in the area...
"Paul and Sean have a gorgeous hotel, very new, clean, great views of forest, ocean, and horses. It was majestic. It’s small in size, peaceful, and spacious with a nice pool area with a bar. The breakfast was good and the coffee. Taxis got me to Esperanza where there was a beach, tours, and restaurants. I like the quiet nature of Vieques and this wonderful gem on a hilltop."
"It was a wonderful experience in a tranquil setting. The open plan brought nature into our living space. Up on the mountain top, the trade winds kept the room cool and comfortable. Yoga each morning was a delight. It was a short trip to any of the beaches and many restaurants. It was stocked with breakfast supplies and with a quick trip to the market, lunch was covered too. Don’t miss the bioluminescent bay tour or the black sand beach. We already want to go back next year. "
"Yoga classes were excellent. Room had many amenities needed for cooking and going to the beach. Breakfast was really a dinner served early in the day. More information about rental cars and tours would have been helpful."
"Beautiful place . Nice and clean apartment. Had all the necessary things. Perfect loaciton. Very close walking distance to bioluminescence bay port . Walking distance to beach and plenty of parking at beach. Few small restaurants around. 2 bedrooms really help with family of 4. Clean kitchen and bathroom . "
"Las Casitas was an absolute beautiful and peaceful stay. The staff was welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. The room and facilities were clean and accessible and there are many things to do for everyone on the resort."
"Great location for taking boat tours or other activities. This was only 1 out of 3 hotels I stayed at, while in Puerto Rico and it was by far the BEST. (One of the 3 hotels was even a M@riots in San Juan- so that should say a lot)"
"We stayed for 4 nights here and overall the stay was pleasant. The hosts were communicative and gave very clear instructions on check-in/check-out. The apartment had 2 bedrooms 2 baths and came with a washer/ dryer which was a huge plus. It is a quiet neighborhood. Everything was functional. They left books for reading, card games, plenty of towels and toiletries. My one and only complaint was there were ants in the kitchen and in one of the bathrooms. Not sure if this is a seasonal thing and it...
