Jez is a wonderful host. He always has excellent suggestions of where to eat and explore. The facilities are warm and inviting like the host. This is our second visit and hope to return again.
It is definitely a privilege to have stayed at such a luxurious location. Everything was in tip top condition, the amenities were far beyond even the 5-star hotels. Well worth the price!
The property was beautiful, in an excellent position with views of the lake. Only drawback- driveway. In saying that would still choose to stay there again if I was in Queenstown
Amazing Queenstown was fantastic all round. We were made to feel very welcome and there were so many little touches that made our stay even better than expected. We borrowed bikes to cycle into town which was great. Jez helped book our trip to Milford Sound which saved us time and hassle. When our flight was cancelled, we were fortunate enough to be able to stay an extra night which was dealt with very smoothly. We'd highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Queenstown!
Good location very clean and comfortable downside i had no view no blind on the window so everyone could look in very noisy when people were in the kitchen over the bedroom this is not a £165 priced room book the lake side if u want value for money but would recommend the place overall

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Most challenging is driving down to the parking lot and parking when u left one lot. Worst is when I try to park in this lot with the other 2 cars park on or exceed the line on both side in the middle of the night. Shared toilet was bad when the other room guests took forever.
Superb property in a drop dead lakefront location with the most gracious and engaging host imaginable. His name is Jez; no detail escapes his attention. But please clean your dishes if you decide to cook! The kitchen is immaculate, like the rest of the house. Don’t even think of staying at a different homestay or hotel while in Queenstown. If space is available at Amazing Queenstown, grab it. The name says it all.
Amazing location with fantastic views. Picturesque walk into town alongside the lake and through gardens. Well equipped with extras including washing machine and dryer and serviced bikes. Lex the owner was very helpful.
This big house has a stunning view of Wakatipu Lake and the snow-capped mountains. You can find everything useful to you as it is a cozy home. Very clean and quiet place with a comfortable bed. Share bathroom with hot shower and clean towels. A super nice host who provides excellent hospitality and tips to make your stay in Queenstown more enjoyable with less cost. It takes 22 minutes walking along the lake to the city and you will be surrounded by an amazing view and breathing very fresh air. If you don't want to walk then you can catch a bus that runs every 15 minutes.I caught a bus from the airport to the place with a big luggage without any problem. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Queenstown.
The house very clean, comfortable and you can see the beautiful lake view.
The host David and Kitty are very nice and chatty, they can give you a lot of useful suggestion about sightseeing in Queenstown. Thank you for your warm treated and makes me feel stay at home!
I had a great experience at this accommodation. Close to the Frankton walkway and town. Friendly owners and very helpful!! I would easily go back again and relive this wonderful place “Queenstown “ !!
Well received by David and Kitty. Very helpful and insightful with their tips and local knowledge. House beautifully presented with stunning view over lake. Easy access to town via lakeside walk or local bus service.
It was the perfect accommodation for an affordable holiday; within walking distance of queenstown, great views, and helpful recommendations. Couldn’t of asked for more, we loved our stay there.
Steven and kiki were very kind couples . Very helpful and they look after their guests and make them feel at home . Our stay was close to town , a walking distance and was very convenient.
David and Kitty shared their lovely house with us. I was impressed from the first minute when I saw a welcome note with my name on it at the front door. The house is new, clean and David and Kitty made it a warm home. We had to share bathroom and kitchen but most of the time I did not feel we were sharing as there was no queue. David knows the town well and is easy to chat with. The house is at a good location—just by the lake. Walking/run around the lake in the morning was a pleasant way to start a day.
We had a lovely time with Jez and his family. The room was very cosy and the lounge/kitchen area has stunning views over the lake (even with the fowl weather we had!). We used the kitchen for our breakfast and dinner several times and it was equipped with absolutely everything you may need. Walking distance into town about 30 minutes stroll; it wasn’t fun in the snow (!!) but otherwise very very pleasant.
