It is a sensory feast - the gardens, butterflies, parrots, iguanas, songbirds, toucans, ocean and mountain views, smells of flowers and jungle - you just don't get tired of it. Only the bedrooms have AC, so the main living area can get warm midday, but the fans held a lot. The kitchen is set up well for making family meals (and saving money as eating out is pricey). "This was a surprise birthday trip for one of our friends and it didn’t disappoint. The home and deck and pool were fabulous. We were able to enjoy the outside and enjoy our daily visitors - howlers and squirrel monkeys, toucans and our resident tiger heron pair and more. Bud was great! "Location was great-as described. Difficult to find at night. This wasn’t our plan but terrible traffic delays on our way from Liberia airport! Great wildlife, however, construction next door was from 6:30 am to 5pm everyday. We left for various adventures but the noise was distracting from the peaceful surroundings. Overall it was a great experience. We did wish there were more specific details about the stove, tv and places in the area. We like to explore but traffic and parking is an issue....

"There were 7 of us (43x2, 70, 14, 12, 12, and 9) and there was plenty of room to spread out. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed, and the house was clean. We loved the pool and seeing the animals daily. We saw toucans, macaws, hummingbirds, and two kids of monkeys. An entire troop of squirrel monkeys (between 50 and 100) came up while we were at the pool and it was definitely a highlight. The house is centrally located and a short drive to everything. "We stayed here for 5 days! The most amazing place! We felt safe and enjoyed a monkey show for a few days. Dani was extremely responsive and amazing to work with. The cleaners were also top notch. It was easy to get to Quepos and Dani planned all of our excursions having the places pick us up right at the house. We will definitely be back!!"

"This was included in a week long trip we made down to Costa Rica, 3 nights of which we chose Casa Roja. Best choice! We got to see the resident Sloth with her baby with her immaculate slow motion moves climbing the tree right in front of the balcony. Woke up by the howler monkeys every day very early in the morning. Visited by the Capuchin white face monkeys and their amazing personalities more than a few times!!
