"The property is down a lane in a very rural location about 2Kms outside Rance and it is about as tranquil and relaxing as you could imagine with just the distant baa ing of the sheep for company. The bedrooms and bathroom and toilet are downstairs with the living accommodation and patio upstairs which works very well. We absolutely loved it and were blessed with fine weather. To note the downstairs toilet is very compact."

"Very strange "kitchen" with a stove put on top of what was a bar and is extremely high. No extraction hood so its mpossible to cook. Bathroom without window or extraction fan. Constant noise right outside the door. The ad says the owner speaks French and English but they don't speak a word of English. We did not see the super well equipped place mentioned in other reviews. We do not recommend this place."

There was no oven in the kitchen which was frustrating, just a very small microwave without oven feature. "A quiet setting in a single storey rear annexe. The open-plan living/djning/kitchen area was spacious and well equipped. "I'm vacating my apartment in mons so have been staying at a number of local hotels. Stayed in room 113 for a week. My only negative is no aircon which would be a nightmare in the summer, they do supply a big noisy fan. Perhaps B&B who are new owners will install aircon? Other than that it was an excellent stay, free coffee downstairs 24/7 and a room with a bath. We didn't bother with breakfast as plenty of shops/cafes in Mons. Very comfortable bed, i slept very well. Would recommend the B&B...

This time in room 103 for a week, nice big clean room, shower only. Very convenient for getting to my apartment and into the centre of town. Didn't use parking or breakfast. IKEA is 10 mins walk away and do a hot breakfast for a few euros. Also 10 mins walk to cafes etc. Van der Valk is easily best hotel in Mons, happy to recommend "
