"Extremely comfortable place very well equipped - it's clear that much love has been invested in the renovation and furnishing of the cabaña- the photos don't do it justice. In an unspoilt location in the Valles Pasiegos. Perfect to watch nature and the weather passing by. Great spot to to explore the northern part of Burgos Province as well as the Valles Pasiegos. Peace, tranquility, nature, vultures, buzzards, short-toed snake eagles. Perfect. We loved it."

"Al ver las fotos esperábamos estar en una casa con una chimenea muy bonita, pero cuando llegamos nos dijeron que la chimenea no se podía usar, que estaba anulada. Además de la foto, la casa sale cuando buscas casas en Frías con chimenea. Deberían corregir esto y eliminar la foto del dosier de la casa. Por lo demás, la casa muy bonita y bien equipada, y la zona tiene una muy merecida visita."

"La casa está muy bien y la ubicación te permite visitar sitios por los alrededores muy bonitos. El único pero que le pongo y que tendría que mejorar, es el tema de la calefacción. Si que tiene calefacción eléctrica y funciona bien, pero en algunas partes hay grandes contrastes de temperatura, sobre todo en la cocina. Pero por lo general, todo muy bien."

"Fuimos los primeros en estrenar la casa. Es la típica casa de pueblo, pero recien reformada. Salón amplio para 5, y suficiente para los 7 que estuvimos unos pocos días. El patio está muy bien, con buenas vistas y bien equipado (mesa grande, barbacoa, sombrilla y tumbonas). A pesar de que tiene unos cuantos escalones, los abuelos se apañaron bien. "Antonio es encantador y te ayuda en todo momento. El espacio es sensacional y con un poquito de trabajo en la casa la experiencia sería magnífica. Combatir la humedad es fundamental y el olor a químicos (naftalina) no es recomendable. Sobran elementos decorativos y falta algun sillón confortable. "Buscamos un alojamiento algo aislado pero con servicio de internet. Necesitaba tener internet porque tuve que teletrabajar por las tardes. Nuestra sorpresa fue que aunque el anuncio pone claramente que la vivienda dispone de servicio de internet, no es así. "Aunque no conocí a la anfitriona, la comunicación fue genial y estuvo muy pendiente de todo. La casa preciosa y con todo lo necesario. Y las instalaciones una maravilla. Estuvimos completamente solos los 4 dias. Quizás en los meses de campamento tiene menos privacidad ya que esta cerca del albergue,aulas, comedor etc y la casa tiene muchas cristalera, pero por otro lado si vas con niños como nuestro caso, debe ser muy entretenido. Campo d fútbol d hierba, campo de voley, el rio... no le falta de...

No restaurant meals on Wednesday as the chef has a day off but the bar menu was a fine alternative. "It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. Evening meals were standard but we both had cheese omelette and chips, which were delicious. Our two small dogs enjoyed the room as well. One small downside is that the GPS took us down some country lanes, some unmade, whereas there was a much more direct route. Not the fault of the owners though."
