"Location is great to walk around Catania. Hotel is a bit difficult to find and is quite old of course. Room was clean and tub was new. Water was warm but not hot making a jacuzzi tub have less value. The staff was very nice and the breakfast good. I would say to stay here if you want a great location. We paid for parking around the corner and it was reasonable and secure."

"We were only here for one night and picked this hotel because it was close to the airport and we had a 6AM flight. To our surprise, we were within 3 minute walk to the best parts of Catania with good restaurants, lively action, and lots of things going on. The hotel itself was pretty with helpful staff and a much nicer room than we needed for one night and at a reasonable price."

"Very nice and charming hotel. The staff is amazing. We were welcomed like old friends and given numerous tips for our 3 day stay in Catania. Breakfast is good and you can get freshly made scrambled eggs ( real eggs!) served with a smile. Order double espresso and add hot water to have really good coffee as americano is likely an instant coffee. Bed is very comfy with spotless white sheets. The area around looks a bit sketchy, but we never encountered any problems. "

"Perfect location adjacent to trsin and bus stations but, as do often in such cases, the immediate area is shabby and the haunt of prostitutes and other street life. No real danger but hardly ideal..The hotel itself is a grand old palazzo with many beautiful features, especially the interior gardens. It's only a 15 minute walk to the nicer parts of Catania. I'd stay here again."
