"The staff was excellent, very helpful with arranging transport, guiding with restaurant info. When needing an extra night they accommodated. Very convenient location with grocery store, restaurants, public transport all right there. "
"Typical ibis budget quality but totally ok with it as long as you know there is no hair dryer and the desk is relatively small.
Overall 4/5 and nice hotel, plus points for the underground garage which is very good."
"We checked in at the front desk and took an elevator to our room. We enjoyed seeing Basal the next day using free public transportation. It is a very nice town. We chose not to have breakfast, but I didn’t see where you could grab a cup of coffee. There was no coffee or tea in our room. "
"Clean, modern room and the hotel was really quiet at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the shower gel was running very low and not filled up and only two hangers in the wardrobe which was not enough for our five night stay. Location was ok, not many eating places next to the hotel but only a short walk to the train station where there were great transport links and places to eat. Around 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Basel...
"I was allocated a room on the 11th floor so the view from My bedroom window of the city was amazing, even at night as all the street lights came on.
The location of the Hotel was ideal for Me as it meant I was able to walk to the Basel football shopping centre in 15 minutes and to the Rhine river and hills which surround the city. It was also only 20 minutes walk from the main station although there was also a tram stop 2 minutes walk away which linked the location to the centre and of course...
"The. Hotel was comfortable and modern with great bathrooms and breakfast. The staff we polite and helpful and it close enough to the old town to walk. The train station was across the street."
"stayed in the new wing of the hotel which was away from the Main Street. The hotel ceiling was rather low though. Room was clean and quite spacious. Breakfast was great."
"We were very happy to stay at this hotel, except the AC was not working, and the lighting of the room was inefficient.
The rest of stay was very very enjoyable. "
"Super convenient location in the heart of everything. Near a ton of restaurants, easy to access the transit system, and walk to the Rhine. Highly recommend"
"We really enjoyed our stay - located very close to the train station (where the airport bus also stops), and old town so super convenient. Very quiet despite being close to a road. Super friendly and helpful reception (providing maps of the city, Basel card, tips for getting around the city easily and onwards travel) and a very clean and comfortable stay for a good price. I would stay here again for sure"
"The reception team were really accommodating and helpful.
The room was really clean and well designed, with thoughtful extras - the bag to use around the city and the colouring page were fun extras I wasn't expecting!"
"Whilst the location may not be the most scenic, inside the hotel is really modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were really attentive. Recommended"

"As always, an excellent stay. We return every time are taking a pit stop on the way to and from Pescara and we have never been less than 100% happy. "

"The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk was super helpful…. The breakfast was great. The one negative was the shower stall. I do expect to take a show without hurting myself. The stall was simply too small, I can’t turn around without turn off or turning the water too hot. It was smaller than the ones on cruise ships. Worst of all, the shower was very slippery and I almost fell. I heard the same complaint from our friends. This has to be addressed.
Overall it was a very nice hotel and it would be excellent if they fix e shower issue.

"The hotel is in the perfect location - near to the train station and the city centre. Our room was a good size, bed was comfy, and there was a kettle for making tea and coffee, which was great. The only downside to our trip was the swimming pool and sauna were closed for renovations...and we had booked the hotel especially to use those facilities. "

"The staff were outstanding to accommodate our need of connecting tooms with our kids. Also provided a lot of info for surrounding area and free metro card. "
