"11 of us went to The Chapel for the weekend. Suzanne was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to show us around the property and give us an overview of its facinating history. She was extremely kind and accomodating to all our questions throughout the weekend. We had a small problem with one of the activities we had organised that didn't quite work out (that was not to do with the property) and Suzanne and George went out of their way to help us with an alternative to ensure that the weekend...

"To start with, we had to contact both travel nest and vrbo, just to get the access codes, as the host was not answering texts and calls. Both travel nest and vrbo were very helpful. We finally got the code, 3 hours before check in, and half hour before travelling. On entering the property, it felt cold and the bed linen felt damp, the whole house was dusty and dirty, and although we were a party of four, there were only 3 chairs in the dining area. "We fell in love with Whitstable and the cottage. It looks exactly like the pictures. The owners have renovated this beautiful cottage to a great standard. The log burner was perfect to come back to after an autumnal walk a long the beach. "We had a very comfortable stay at Kingsdown. The house was well equipped with the basics. Finding the holiday park was difficult - we passed it a few times before a local showed us the way in! If possible drive through deal to get there instead of the narrow road through Kingsdown. Host was super responsive and helpful! "

There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had."

"I booked and paid for this place but the owner never got back to me. Never emailed me the code to get in. And then travelnest told me it was my job to try and get a refund off expedia! This is a rotten disgraceful way to treat people. Id travelled 140 miles to stay here with my disabled husband and two dogs and couldnt even contact the owner to get in!!!"
