Round two stay was just as good as Round one
My buddies from HS have moved to all different areas of the NW. Packwood is close to being center for us all. We stayed at this property 5 years. It has been updated somewhat since then and just as comfortable. I met the owner this year as she was gardening. We had pleasant conversation about the grounds. Its a short hike down to the river with an improved stick bridge across a creek. Overall wonderful time.

Cabin Get Away with Amazing River Access
Very quiet, secluded cabin nestled in a meadow with all the amenities. Private hot tub right outside the sliding glass door to the master bedroom, cozy fire pit, play ground, AMAZING river access, large private back patio with lounging chairs and a grill, and a chicken coop (some were free ranged which was so fun). We didn’t hardly see and didn’t hear our neighbors. Very private property. The inside of the cabin was just as wonderful. Very nice stay here, we will be back for sure.

Great cabin!
Perfect place to stay for our ski weekend. Kitchen does not have many extras like zip lock bags or foil, so bring those items if you think you’ll need them. Layout is great, beautiful views, hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing, and getting to and from cabin was very easy.

Sweet Cabin!
Cozy cabin in a great location 12 minutes from Packwood and 35 minutes from White Pass. Beds were not that comfortable, but everything else was spectacular! Clean! Friendly and responsive hosts, and the hot tub hit the spot after a day on the ski hill! Would recommend.

Great little getaway. If i had one negative to post its i wish the sitting areas inside were more "cozy" the random couches were a bit uncomfortable. Other than that place was clean and user friendly

Family vacation!
My dad survived two major heart surgeries with his most recent this year so we wanted to come and visit him and see his property in Randle! This place was perfect to stay at being close to him. He even came over and walked down to the river which is just stunning! We drove from Las Vegas with our fur baby so was even more fun and convenient staying here with the large space in the cabin and the outside grounds! The cabin was so clean, all amenities you could ask for was there! Wish we had time to use the jacuzzi! Loved how it is private on the side of the house! Had fun playing chest and relaxing outside to watch the stars! My dog had a blast at the river too! We would highly recommend this place! So much to do around Randle area too!! Upstairs is perfect for a family of four and downstairs a couple with the bedroom suite!! Huge kitchen and living room area too!

Rustic cabin with nice outdoor amenities
We were a group of 3 couples staying in this cabin in August ‘23. While the listing states that it is a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin, that is deceiving. The downstairs master bedroom is an en-suite, but the two upstairs bedrooms do not have a bath on that floor. They must use the downstairs bath that is off the great room. The stairs are made of “rustic” live edge wood that scraped our ankles as we went down them. Two of us fell on the stairs as a result of the wood & the poor lighting in the stairwell at night. There are wall sconses that can light up the stairwell, but the 2 upstairs bedrooms ceilings are open to the whole house so sound & any light in the great room is heard/seen from those rooms. The owner stores extra blankets & linen in the drawers in all 3 bedrooms, so there is very little storage. The master bath has a pedestal sink leaving no place to put toiletries except for on the floor. There was only a towel ring & no towel rack. The other bathroom did have one towel rack (for 4 people to share) & a small shelving unit for storage. There was a washer dryer in that bath as well. The bed in the master need to be replaced, the couple who tried to sleep in it sank to the center & the bed frame was squeaky. The twin beds upstairs were comfortable. The other bed upstairs was acceptable. The TV remote didn’t work, this was noted in a review in May, and hasn’t been addressed. The ice maker in the fridge didn’t work. The cabin looks nice in pics, but staying there is so much.

My family of 4 loved our stay!! It was so quiet and relaxing! We enjoyed walking down to the river and an elk came up one night when we were sitting in the back porch. We had everything we needed to be comfortable and appreciated the attentiveness of the host. Thank you so much!!

Nice cabin on the Cowlitz River
Nicely stocked kitchen for making meals, easy walk to the beautiful river, lots of windows, enjoyed the outdoor picnic table for dinner both nights and watched the sunlight change on the butte as the sun set. The upstairs bed could use a new mattress my daughter said. She said they both kept rolling to the middle of the bed. They ended up using the comfier twin beds. The downstairs bedroom had the bathroom attached and nice sliding doors out to the hot tub, however, the sink was in the bedroom and needed a shelf of some kind because there was nowhere to put your toiletries. The fire pit is very close to the house and lacked seating with backs. It would be fine for roasting marshmallows, but not really for relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.

A beautiful location!
This property is stellar! The area is beautiful and the cabin is perfect. The river is close, but it is a walk - We got eaten alive by mosquitos the first day at the river so we didn't fish anymore during our stay - we stayed inside and played games. This is close to Mt Rainier National Park, which we visited twice. This property would be awesome any time of the year!
