Great hotel! Walking distance from restaurants, shops, museums and the harbour. Close to the tourist pick up bus stop. Pretty interiors and friendly helpful stuff. The bed is was very comfortable with weighted blankets and there was a Nespresso machine in the room. I’d stay here again!

Very solid hotel, lots of decorations (in a good way, not messy nor daunting). Good quality towels, bed, bath, shower products…. Is much nicer on the inside (in the bedroom) than on the outside (looks old and not much design). Very quiet but still 5 min walk away from the Main Street. Would totally recommend.

Fantastic location. Right in the centre of downtown Reykjavik, Iceland. Great service from concierge, Andrew. Helpful, courteous and professional.

I loved staying outside of Reykjavik area and closer to the scenic areas I wanted to explore. I enjoyed staying three nights at this hotel because it was absolutely beautiful, the staff were simply extraordinary, the shop is everything I’d want to buy (if I had enough room in my luggage), and the variety of restaurants with high quality food (tacos, nachos, fish & chips) was super convenient. Free parking. Free breakfast spread including croissants, fresh bread, granola, yogurt, fruit, deli meat and cheese, etc. Additionally I recommend their cookies and hot cocoa! I had rented a car and traveled solo and went to black sand beach (2 hour drive). The krater lake was 15 minutes away as well as fabulous boutique shopping in Selfoss. There are lots of adventures (zip lining, horseback riding, hot springs, hiking, etc you can book while there). More importantly than all that was the staff. They would talk with you if your travels and respond when inquiring about recommendations. They are truly part of the awesome community in the small town. I’m definitely returning.
