"My business partner and I took 8 of our employees to Little Harvest Caye for a weeklong retreat and we just can't say enough how perfect it was! This little island is immaculate. "This is a very cool little cluster of cabanas and a bar/restaurant on a legit TINY island. The staff is great, the food is decent, and the snorkeling could be better, but overall it was a fun stay. We were the only ones staying on the island, which was pretty cool."

"Our stay was comfortable, with a good distance of walking to Lobster fest. Our room was pretty clean, provided all the amenities mentioned, and even soap and towels. There were some leftover, used things of soap that were still in the shower area from visitors past. It was hard to find our place at first, and even as I was sitting in my hammock one of the days, some visitors had to ask me to help them find their building. But overall, once we got settled it was a great spot to stay at."

"What an amazing place right on the beach. We were the only ones stay at the beach property. Loved the lounge chairs, hammock, kayaks. Had communication problems with the property manager at times. No one around upon arrival and no instructions for wifi and TV. He did make arrangements for private snorkeling and fishing tours. The place does not have a hot tub as listed in amenities. The location is ideal at the quiet end of the sidewalk."

"Very unique location for a home to rent. Almost all others in the area is hotels. On the boardwalk and walkable to a lot of restaurants and bars. Keyless entry, that manually locks. Furniture was not clean. Shower burning hot, but there is an outdoor shower. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Starfish Villa! The property was just as listed and the photos were accurate but of course didn’t really do it justice. The pool was amazing, the dock with a an authentic palapa was a great hangout, and the rooftop deck was a perfect spot to watch the sunsets. "I have already submitted a review. Placencia is a beautiful unspoiled gem. The beaches are spectacular. Carol's Cabanas - Tarpon is located on the main st and very noisy into the wee hours. As it was very inexpensive my expectations were not high BUT it was clean, had 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette ( no oven) a screened porch and suitable bathroom facilities. "This was a very nice and charming place for 2 couples. If there is only one complaint to be had it would be the access road to the property. Riddled with clay pot holes that take a toll on your re Tal vehicle and your neck. The property itself is very nice and accommodating. We were easily picked up at the dock by our chartered boat that took us to the many Keys in Placencia. I would come back here."

"STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky. But trust me, you will not care! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wouldn’t miss for anything! No other vacation has compared. "
