"Was dubious after reading other reviews. For the price of the room we were pleasantly surprised and would stay there again. I would give it a three star rating out of five. Obviously the rooms could be improved but we were quite comfortable. "

"Only issue was the Ack of free parking. The parking lot for the hotel was full most of the time and was not always hotel guest using it. Parking across the street was paid parking, not to expensive so it was available."

"This property was clean, basic and all you need for a cheap stay over whilst visiting the island. The rooms are dated, and reminded me of early Mr Dirk Diggler movie sets. Though once you're inside, you have all the basic amenities including a fridge, table and chair to work from, reclining leather chairs. It was comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. The location was surprisingly quiet except the noise of nature/wildlife. It was a very pleasant stay and extremely friendly and helpful...

"Location: The property is located centrally. This provides relatively easy driving to the main island sites and the ferry. Not walkable but that is the same for almost everywhere on the island. Staff: Wonderful.and helpful. Room: We had a water view room that had a ground level patio which we took advantage of every eveing. The room is a little dated and could use with updating. That being said it was good for a couple night stay and the the staff made up for this piece. Property: It has a pool,...

"Thankyou Ro for the wonderfull 3 night stay with our 15 year old dog Sammy. We throughly enjoyed our the cooked breakfast and fruit you prepared. The care you gave Sammy while we went out for tea one night and lunch the next day gave him a spoilt break as well. The Atmosphere of you home is a holiday we will always treasure. "Good location for ferry to Kangaroo Island. Room comfortable but not equipped for longer stay. We arrived at 8 at night and left 9 next more so didn't spend much time there. Room comes with dishes but no kitchen sink. Have to wash dishes in bathroom!"
