Longview cottage nestled on Big Bay DeNoc

Private, newly remodeled, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom lake front cottage, Close to golf courses, wineries, Atv/snowmobile trails, national parks, ice caves, waterfalls and much more! Enjoy kayaking on Lake Superior at Pictured Rock National Park (which is only an hour away) and/or on our private beach on Lake Michigan’s Big Bay deNoc. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets and have fires on the beach while watching bald eagles fish. Enjoy amenities such as our kayaks, bicycles, corn hole, large yard Yahtzee dice game, and a paddle boat (all included). Or relax in our hammock located next to the shore. Explore cute little local shops or sip wine at the local winery. Many restaurants to choose from only 30 minutes away.

Owners providing 3 kayaks, 1 paddle boat and 2 SUP boards your enjoyment in the summer!! Many golf courses are nearby and very inexpensive to play. Each course provides beautiful greens, challenging holes, and hours of fun with your friends and family.

Enjoy our 12X30 Deck while grilling (included), sitting on our wicker furniture, sipping a cold drink, while watching the family enjoy the water!

In summer, fish or paddle in our kayaks, or swim in the lake. Bring your own fishing poles. At our site, you can wade in the water for many yards before it gets too deep. ATV trails are minutes away!! Or relax in our quiet private beach area. Local wineries are in nearby towns. Explore lighthouses that line the coast of Lake Michigan. Take walks on trails that follow many rivers.

In winter, bring your snow shoes, skis, or snow machines and ride on the many trails located nearby. Go ice fishing on nearby Little Bay DeNoc where there are world record breaking walleye, norther pike, perch, and other fish. There is plenty to do and we have guidebooks available as we have done our research!

Please note there is no WIFI come ready to unplug, unwind and enjoy all the UP has to offer. There is, however a cell signal booster in the cottage.

Please also note there is no garbage pick up. Please take your garbage with you.

Cozy lakeside cottage
Longview Cottage is a cute, cozy little cottage which was perfect for a trip to the UP. The owners have furnished it well, with pretty much everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable, and the dvd collection is fabulous! I had one question, during our stay, for the owner who immediately responded to a text.We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful cottage and great location! Being on the water was so relaxing. We enjoyed using the kayaks and bikes that were available and exploring the surrounding area - Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Fayette State Park, Indian Lake State Park and Kitchitikipee.

Beautiful place and view!! Spent every morning on deck with my coffee! The cottage was exactly what I wanted! My 18 month old granddaughter loved how shallow the water was to play in. My daughter and her family live just up the road so location was perfect. Bed was comfy.celebrated my 19th year after surviving a massive stroke. Even made it to the UP State Fair. Very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Peaceful winter wonderland escape.
Everything was fantastic. Stress free, relaxing, calm, quiet, and cozy. This cottage really reminds us of some beautiful places we’ve stayed in Florida along the ocean. We spent our extended weekend staying in and enjoying the warmth of the fireplace. We listened to music, watched a few movies the whole way through (rare for us) cooked a few meals, took lots of scenic pictures of the frozen lake, did some art projects, and mainly, we relaxed and enjoyed the time away together from the day to day. My fiancé had stayed here on a girls trip last year, and insisted I take her back again. I am so glad we decided to brave the snow and “get lost” for a few days. We will definitely be back. 5 stars all the way around, Jeff & Jenn have an amazing place. Can’t wait to experience it during the summer.

Longview Cottage
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Longview Cottage. It was so quiet and peaceful there. I didn't realize that kind of quiet still existed in the world. The view is amazing as well as the sunsets. Excellent place to kayak and enjoy the outdoors. The cottage was cozy and well supplied with anything we needed.

We loved this house. Clean and beautiful. We could not believe how quiet an area we were in yet convenient location to Kitch-iti-kipi and Fayette State Park. The amenities at the house were awesome. Hammock, paddle boat, paddle boards and kayaks! Lots of games and movies. Fully stocked kitchen. It was perfect!

Perfect little cottage!
We spent 5 nights here and loved every minute of it. The cottage is far enough off the road that there's no traffic noise (it's not a busy road anyways), and the lake view is amazing. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with amenities, there was a nice selection of movies and games, and a big stack of brochures for nearby attractions. Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable. A perfect, peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

Little Slice of Heaven in God's Country
Spent most of the week between Christmas and New Years at Longview Cottage. Beautifully updated and right on the shores of Big Bay de Noc. Perfect location for day trips to Kitch-iti-kipi, Manistique, Cut River Bridge, Tahquamenon Falls, Grand Marais, Munising, etc. Winter is a beautiful time to visit the UP and this cottage is a great little retreat. Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

This cottage is amazing. It appears a bunk house is also in the process of being renovated on the property. The water is shallow for football fields beyond the beach. Safe for kids. Fun for rock hunters. Amazing area. Bald Eagles and hummingbirds galore.

UP North hideaway
This is our 2nd stay in this gem. We absolutely love the quiet and beautiful surroundings! Just what we needed. Good for the soul. Cottage is darling and well-stocked. Water is clean, with a sandy bottom. Bonus, you can walk out several hundred yards without hitting deep water. Our Family had a wonderful time unplugging and getting to know each other again.

What a gem
Longview Cottage exceeded our expectations. I live for a view and this place delivered. It was so nice to have a view of the lake from the main area - the windows along the back also let in a lot of natural light. We enjoyed that the property was so near the water and enjoyed watching the sunsets. There is a bit of a beach that runs both directions that we enjoyed walking - what a truly tranquil setting to unwind. And the queen bed was so very comfortable. We are grateful the owners shared their property with us and wanted for nothing. The owner has quite the movie collection!

We absolutely loved the cottage and the water, the only downfall is it’s lots of driving if you don’t plan on just hanging around the cottage. The location of the cottage itself on the bay is amazing but having to drive at least an hour to do tourist stuff was exhausting! The owners are wonderful and accommodating. We will definitely be back to just hangout at the cottage and on the beach! 😊
