Nice secluded property
Private lakefront with stony beach. Excellent, large private yard area. The kitchen and bathroom areas were newly redone and excellent. Beds were clean and comfy and you can hear the lake at night! I would go back for sure.

Clean,quiet and relaxing .
Spacious area with a private beach. The deck was great for watching sunsets and I loved the outside patio in the back. We were packing up the car and the boys(the dogs) turned around to go back to the cottage. They wanted to stay and so did I😀

Peaceful
My wife and I have never been to this area. We found the house to be excellent and clean. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful deck with water views, check in process was easy and the mgmt company responded to several questions very very quickly. Grocery shopping at Meijers in Escanaba was a large convenient plus. Ice cream cones for lunch at Garth Gas/Grocery was a treat. Highly recommended

Great getaway cabin
This cabin was right on the water. The kids & I really enjoyed the water. Water shoes are a must because it is a rocky shore, no sand. Absolutely beautiful views. Cabin was nice & stocked with most essentials. Would note that it was not very clean, many cobwebs, etc. But excellent response when reached out to manager & overall great vacation.

Third year in a row!!!🥳
We love this camp! This is our third year staying for a week, and we didn’t want to leave. The cabin is not fancy (orange shag carpet), but the location is wonderful. Beautiful sunsets and a lovely breeze, rocks/beach glass/fossils to pick, trees to hang a hammock, AND they allow dogs! What more do you need? Can’t wait for next year! 👍🌅❤️

Lovely Location, Great Layout. It would be a "5 Star" with a Little Maintenance
Really liked the location and view. You are nestled in among some cedars with lots of wildlife around you and centrally located for exploring the Hiawatha National Forest. Kitchen has most everything you need. But the screen door to the deck is a mess, the window in one bedroom isn't there (just the storm), and somethings just need repair/replacing. This gem needs polishing.

Long weekend near family
Location of the property was beautiful on the lakeshore. Inside of the cottage was clean. Comfortable place to stay. Enjoyed the location, was able to sit on the deck when there was a breeze to keep the bugs away, and enjoy the view. However, I had brought my dog, of course expected to pick up after him—-rather difficult when the grass was very overgrown. The overgrown grass also contributed to the large number of mosquitoes on and around the patio entrance, which was the entrance we had to use. Management tried, but was unable to get someone to cut the grass on the holiday weekend. They were very responsive to that and other minor issues.

Little slice of UP heaven
It was exactly what we were seeking to get away from the city. The wildlife was so abundant I couldn’t believe it. Every night we could see a few does and fawns in the yard. The sound of the bay was beautiful and the breeze from it was spectacular. Cooking dinner two nights of the stay was something we had never experienced on vacation but it was so nice. We were able to visit local meat markets in nearby towns and it was a great experience. Plenty of boat ramps close to the house, and a light house at the end of the road was a cool adventure. Walmart and meijer plus a variety of city amenities were within 35 minutes of the house so that was convenient for us. The neighbors to the house were very nice and welcoming in passing but overall the stay was secluded and quiet which was great. I would stay here again and again when going to the UP.

Great for the price
Not too shabby. A nice place for a reasonable price. The beach was much shorter than we originally thought, but the boys and the dogs had a blast anyway. The cabin was nice and clean, but does have a little bit of that damp smells to it like some other reviewers stated. I'm only taking one star away because there were many dog poops from previous vacationers. I ended up cleaning up after my dogs and then some... Also, there should be an instruction on how to operate the entertainment system. Overly complicated tv set-up with like 5 remotes and a sound system receiver.

Noc's Landing
This is our second time renting this cabin. We love the location and that dogs are allowed. I read 8 novels in 9 days while sipping iced tea and listened to the waves crashing as I swung in my hammock. There are a lot of fossils and beach glass as treasures and the fireworks from Escanaba/Gladstone are always a pleasure to watch from across the bay. My guys like to kayak and swim in the big lake. A few comments: the tap water tastes gross, so bring your own, the cabin is not super clean with a lot of cobwebs and dead flies and live ants in some corners, the microwave didn't work, there were only two half empty hand soaps, 1 and a half rolls of tp and paper towel (we stayed for 9 days), and the home needs some upkeep as it has fallen into some disrepair since our visit the previous summer. Overall though, the positives outweigh the negatives! It is a fabulous place to unwind and enjoy the Yoop. We enjoy this cabin and hope to return again in the future! :)

This is a beautiful lot. You could not ask for nicer views. Our dog loved it, too!
I was worried about the unique artesian well feature and was very careful with septic but we had many guests and no problems. We're originally from the area, Escanaba, know many people on Stonington and were well pleased. The owners had a brand new charcoal grill ready for our stay! It was clean, has a dishwasher and washer and dryer and a nicely stocked kitchen. The tap water is what you would expect if you're a Yooper but is fine for cooking, just an acquired taste for drinking. Bring gallons of water for the great Keurig coffee maker and to drink. This is a secluded property with great sunset views and the owners provided firewood and eight camp chairs to enjoy the bonfire pit. We brought our Seadoos and enjoyed the heck out of the bay. It would have been perfect if there was a canoe there to take a quiet ride in the moonlight so bring your kayaks if you have them. Thanks to our hosts, whom we did not see, the neighbors are great. We will be back to Noc's Landing. Jill and Ron Waligora and Jinx, the dog.

Walleye Dream
We had a wonderful family vacation this past week. We were a little nervous based on some of the other reviews, which is why I am leaving this one. Yes it is a dated fish mounted typical UP house - which is what we expect and love about our trips up north. The beach is great for skipping stones and swimming and kayaking (bring water shoes though it is rocky). A boat launch is 5 minutes down the road (got to Farmers Dock) and easy for our 18 1/2 foot Lund to get in and out and we caught 26 fat walleye that we are still enjoying. We did not see a trace of any mice, and yes we blew the fuse in the kitchen when running multiple electronics but it takes 2 seconds to flip the switch and get it going again. The washer and dryer are brand new and was great to go home with not a single load of laundry. We had campfires and watched shooting stars at night and rested in the hammock during the day, went tubing, hiked the lighthouse on the point and played football in the water. Additionally the management team were absolutely wonderful when we had a question they responded immediately. Lastly it is centrally located about an hour from all kinds of attractions like Marquette, Pictured Rock Boat Tours, Fayette State Park and more. We are 40, 39 and 8 years old and this was the perfect space for my family.

Noc's Landing is a hidden gem
This rental property was perfect for me and my family. It is rustic. That means it is older and worn but everything works - just like me :D If you want flashy glam and new everything, go somewhere else. The washer and dryer are new, plenty of hot water. I tested it: dishwasher, clothes washer and shower all running at the same time, plenty of hot water. Great water pressure. We cook at home mostly, so we tested all of the appliances and the charcoal grill. It all works well. This home is ON the lake, right on the lake. Loved it. Listened to the water on the shore at night, slept better than I have in ages - no lights (except minor light from Escanaba), virtually no noise. We arrived on the night of a full moon and watching the moonrise over Little Bay de Noc was awesome! Every morning, I would sit drinking my coffee enjoying the huge expanse of Lake Michigan literally at my feet. We came to enjoy nature, the views and the outdoors, so we did not miss having internet or tv. (There were plenty of dvd movies to choose from if technology withdrawal hit.) The Escanaba library is not too far and provides internet needs if necessary. When I got home and turned on the news, I wanted to go back to Noc's Landing where the world did not intrude. Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore is about an hour away. We thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip, hiking the trails and viewing the various falls in the area. We brought our dog with us, and she loved running and playing on the property and swimming in the lake. We took long walks down the road and saw plenty of deer but no people. Our stay was just great. We had everything we needed here at Noc's Landing especially peace, quiet and exceptional views.
