This hotel is good quality, its a shame about the location , it once had a Resturant but now closed. Good quality rooms. I would say you need a car to get around no Resturanti in walking distance. Well not what i like. Its hard to say for me about the area but to many new comers if you know what i mean.

Hotel Italia is a gem. It is conveniently located very near the Train Station in Treviso- a small beautiful and small city with not enough Taxis. Our stay was perfect. We were delighted with Tomasso, Il Duca Andrea and Sylvia. We heartedly recommend Hotel Italia and hope to return again.

The hotel was an easy walk from everything we wanted to see and eat. Staff were very helpful with dining recommendations and the breakfast offered was a great way to start the day. Morning cappuccinos were delicious.

Enough electrical outlets to charge two iPhones at night. Good breakfast with scrambled egg choice on the buffet. Hallway carpets are worn. Location was good. There is a parking area on the hotel property with several spots and we were lucky to park in one of the last spots at 17:30. Our window overlooked the train station rail yard, which was not a problem for us, because it is better to hear romantic trains during the night than the random acceleration of automobiles on Viale Giorgio Pallavicini. No problem sleeping with the trains. The double bed was plenty large.

The hotel is old and a little dated but clean. It is close to the train station which for me was an advantage and a short walk to see all of the historic parts of Ravenna. The pillows were very thin and the shower was a little small. Overall it was an okay hotel and nothing terribly wrong with it but a little over priced for what it was.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and air conditioned. They had a small elevator but we were thankful since our room was on the 4th floor. The hotel was very close to the train station which was convenient although you could hear the occasional train pass by in the night. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. Overall the stay was very good and a good value.

Perfectly placed
Two minute walk from station. Hotel backs on to railway, but no problems with noise overnight. Staff really helpful. Breakfast basic but adequate. Short walk to central Ravenna - really nice old town and stunning mosaics. Overall Ravenna experience far exceeded our expectations.

Pleased
I couldn't fault my room. However my companion had to ask for another room as the air conditioning was not working. This was immediately rectified by giving her another room in which to sleep but to which she did not have to move all her things. The staff were most welcoming and allowed us to use the sitting area of the lobby for a number of hours as we waited for our train. The proximity to the station was also a plus.

Hotel Italia Ravenna - good location
Good location for getting to the sites in Ravenna and outside Ravenna (birdwatching for us). The staff were helpful very courteous. The parking is free of charge, but not guaranteed, but there is reasonable parking on the street. The station is close by. A problem for some (and us) was the unavailability of interent access either by wi-fi - or even, eventually, the very slow PC situated under the stairs. The wi-fi access is charged and we would willingly have paid money for it. This is a real shortcoming for such an otherwise efficient hotel. For us it would be a reason not to return - and a real shame to have the good hotel let down by a technical shortfall.
