"Our expectations were exceeded with this stay. The lot has plenty of parking spots. When we arrived, ambient music was playing to welcome us. The backyard was bigger than expected, with plenty of seating, and full of pretty leaves, trees, and a stream. It was a dream to get to sit by the fireplace with a blanket outside in the morning with your coffee. The whole place was decorated beautifully and the hosts were easy to contact. The fireplaces made it warm and cozy. The hosts really kept their guests in mind as everything has hospitality written all over it. Plenty of mugs, cups, plates, you name it! The kitchen equipment was stocked enough for us to make soup, orzo, breakfast, and brownies. The bunk beds didn't creak and we slept well. The tables and chairs were sturdy and the coach was nap-worthy after our Friends Trail hike. The kitchen was even fitted with an RO filter - which means really tasty water! It was the perfect place to catch up with long-distance friends and roomy enough for us 6 women to get ready and enjoy a dinner night out. Cannot recommend this place enough!  If I had a complaint, it would be all the dust and gravel that accumulated on the car, but a quick car wash removed it all. Most of the windows had curtains, but the glass doors didn't have covers. Good thing the neighboring cabins weren't close enough to see in. "

"Scenic Solitude is, in my opinion, the best cabin we could have chosen for our first stay in Broken Bow. The gravel road to get to the cabin (and all the others) is pretty bumpy and dusty but our cabin was set back far enough off the road that we didn't hear the traffic coming down the road, nor did we have to deal with the dust. The location was just fantastic. The 3 bedrooms are just the right size with 2 of them having a king bed and the 3rd, upstairs, having 1 double bunk and 1 single bunk to allow for 4 kids or adults for that matter. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a big plus. The deck has a large hot tub but we didn't use it. The crew already had the tub set up in the event we wanted to use it. Also, the kitchen was fantastic! Any appliance or utensil you needed was there except for 2 small things - kitchen scissors and possibly one of those fire-starter lighters for the fire pit out back. We had a blender, a toaster, a Keurig coffee pot for single or full carafe of coffee. There was even a large crock pot! My favorite spot was the deck out back, complete with TV. Pandora was running for me practically the whole time. What a peaceful and perfect place to have that first cup of coffee in the morning. The cabins on either side of ours were far enough away that you couldn't really see them very well and you had total privacy. I would stay at this cabin again in a heartbeat!"
