I booked through a 3rd. party reservationist. After booking... I then, read over the reviews. Afterwards, I thought I had made a serious error by booking here. Based on the reviews I attempted to cancel but I didn't qualify for a refund. Reluctantly, I enter into the lobby. To my surprise it was well lit, clean, fresh smelling and inviting. After a quick check-in, I proceeded nervously to my suite (rm 410) and it too had the same effect as did the lobby. Although, the cloth chairs in my room could definately use a good steam cleaning my stay was very, very comfortable. In fact it was so comfortable that it was the knock on the door from the cleaning staff that awokened me. It's not a "FOUR STAR" hotel but, it's a very decent, safe, clean, and yes... comfortable place to stay. I have NO regrets and should I ever need to stay/rest in that area again, I'd most definitely book my stay there again @ this Comfort Inn. This hotel reviews are HORRIBLE. Which only proves... "Dont believe everything that you read". Btw: They also have a decent hot breakfast consisting of waffles, sausages, eggs, hot and cold cereals, muffins, juice, milk and etc. Dont take my word for it... Try it for yourself.

This hotel was filthy. When we arrived to our room it was obvious the carpets had not been vacuumed and the bathroom floor had not been mopped. There were random hairs all around the shower surround as well. The person we saw upstairs cleaning the room across the hall was just in the room with the door open but wasn’t cleaning. That was at least the fourth time we saw her in a 24 hour period and each time she was, scrolling social media, eating, or taking a personal call. That may be the cause of the state of the room but I would never venture to stay there again!

The hotel was in a good location for our needs. All staff we encountered were friendly and professional. While parts of the hotel had undergone remodelling, parts still require freshening like the carpeting. Breakfast area supplied everything necessary for an adequate start for your day, was well taken care of and refreshed as was needed. We would stay here again when in the area.

We didn’t have a tv remote in room no hair dryer no telephone staff wasn’t very friendly the receptionist seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered. The check in desk they wouldn’t let me use my Visa card had to use my debit card. Probably will never go to this comfort in again.

I didn’t like how rude the front desk woman from 3Pm to 11pm I checked in for couple days so i needed extra towels she was highly upset that the next day I asked for room service they literally left my room door open the entire day i come back to my room at 1130 At night and noticed the door is open on lock position so they forgot to unlock the lock switch so anybody could went to my. Room while I was gone the whole day

It's on the cheaper end of the spectrum, so one can't expect too much, but still .. Run down, too many years of not being well cleaned or taken care of have left it with permanent stains and wear, the tap water smells of sulphur, rotted eggs and bleach. What repairs or upgrades that were made were poor and guaranteed to create even more problems in the near future. The kicker for me was the rather large mouse that wandered into the bathroom while I was in there. Because if I see 1 in the room, it's a guarantee that there are a lot more living in the walls and floors

Bathroom was dirty. Shower grout was black in spots. Floor looked like it was not cleaned. Mini Shampoo, conditioner, lotion bottles were dirty and clearly re-used/refilled rather than replaced. One bed had only top sheets and no blanket.

Absolutely loved how clean it smelled and how clean and organized the rooms are. Only complain would be they didn’t have enough towels in case you needed one but aside from that everything was perfect.

When we arrived, we were told, the previous people in our room were smoking pot and the room smelled. They had been trying to clean out the smell before we arrived. After accepting the room, because they were sold out & we had a wedding to attend with no time to look elsewhere, we realized the bathroom sink was stopped/did not drain. We went out to eat and returned to the maintenance man working on the sink...and finally success!! Later that night, I realized the electric plug, at the sink in the bathroom, didn't work. The next morning the same maintenance man returned. Sadly, he couldn't fix the problem. So I had to use an electric wall receptacle set with 4 plugs available, near a mirror, so I could do my hair & make up. Sadly, the plugs from the light and hairdryer would not stay in the wall receptacle!! I moved a table over to the receptacle, which held the wires in place. The breakfast food was great, the staff was great, the maintenance man did all he could. The building needs an inspector to check all the systems out.
